I spent some time trying to figure out data connectivity but got sucked into developing on the HTC Evo. It's hard to say no to an almost perfect working Jelly Bean

Flashed the 4/2 over the 3/25 and MMS seems to be good. Is there somewhere where I can see what stuff the CM updated? Like, in detail?
I read somewhere that CM got rid of the option to disable reportings statistics... Is that in this release?
I dont really like that .
my only gripe with it is that it has to you use some resources .battery.. ram etc... I am very confident its minimal. But I still dont like it.. Its the first thing I did once it booted up.. I always disabled it
I wonder if I can remove it ....?
I personally don't care myself, and I don't see the stats being an issue in terms of resources as they are not going to be pulling the data over and over again. If it bothers you too much, you can always look for an edited version on XDA, or build the source yourself and pull out the commit. I am sure with CM making this stance, other AOSP ROM's will be making the same changes as well.
it seems I wasnt the onkly onw who felt that way
I will have another release today or tonight with the fix in it. Right now working on MMS stuff.
Yeah, I enabled developer options right after my first Angry Bean install... the menu is visible and I've enabled Android debugging. When I connect to the computer via USB I get the little android face icon that also says "Android Debugging Enabled." In response to this post I tried enabling "ADB over network," in case you meant I needed to do that too, but whether that's on or off, ADB simply does not work unless I'm in recovery mode.[Disabled ADB] is normal of all Jelly Bean Roms. Check the OP For getting into the developer options. From there you can turn on ADB, add extra settings for reboot and what not.

Can anyone else confirm their ADB-over-USB works?
Thanks, nsciucco... that worked perfectly!
Thanks g60 for this ROM!
Sorry, I'm still learning...
I believe I read somewhere that it is OK and safe to install multiple zip files if using the fastboot method. Does this mean it is OK to install this ROM and joe-blow's fix everything update at the same time (without the reboot inbetween)? If so, do I do the ROM first and then joe-blow's fix, or the other way around? I seem to understand the fastboot CLI method better than copying ZIP files to the SD card.
also, does fastboot erase cache -- format all partitions (other than SD card)?
Example:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip [ROM].zip
fastboot flash zip [joe-blow].zip
fastboot reboot
I like this ROM a lot, the only question I have is when it is locked there is a question mark in the middle on top where the lock is, can I take that off? and how?
MMS and SMS is working on the latest release.
