I'm not a Best Buy person/employee and I could be 100% wrong but...

When Best Buy had a presale for the Motorola Droid, I went in on the 30th of October, purchased the phone but I didn't get the actual device until the phone was launched (which was 6 November). They called me when they got the phone in, which was on the official launch date and I had to go pick it up.

Again, Best Buy could be doing it differently this time but I seriously doubt they will be letting people walk out with phones on the 18th

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing. Or, IF it was in stock sooner, like 4/25, would we be able to get it then instead of the 29th? I guess it doesn't really matter if it's only in BB Mobile (I'd have to drive 500+ miles in that case).

I know that is when it is going to be released. I just didn't know if there was going to be overwhelming popularity with the pre-orders so that the shipments to the stores would be delayed. Remember how some stores did not get the chocolate touch at first?
 
I was out of the office all day and working and had no access to AF and I come home to the release of the Incredible? FAN-FUGGIN-TASTIC!!

OK, that makes more sense. Don't know. That's why I'm definitely preordering when I get home from the hospital on the morning of the 19th! :)
 
sorry if this has already been posted (direct me to the post please!) does are there dimensions for the extended battery + new cover? I'm assuming it's going to be bigger if there's a new batter cover.

that is a good idea!! haha, unfortunately my upgrade isn't until may 15th, so hopefully by then all of the stores will be stocked up!

Okay, so you know how on an optical mouse, there's a sensor/laser/LED on the bottom that records the motion when you move it around on the table (or wherever it is you happen to be moving the mouse around on - it's okay, I won't judge ;) ), it's like that, but upside-down/in reverse - instead of moving a device around on a surface, your moving a surface around on a device.

Actually, not to be melodramatic but no. This particular visit is because my airways are completely collapsing upon exhale and they're trying to find something to keep them open so I can breathe until they evaluate me for surgery. :(

But thanks for asking. That was thoughtful. :)
