I really dont see this happening tho. Hell my local Best Buy just heard of the Incredible today, and told me to call back tomorrow to find out from the mobile manager if there would even be a pre order!

This was discussed quite a bit several pages ago. Yes, the VZW navigator app is AVAILABLE on the Android marketplace...along with 38,000 or so other apps. You can choose to download it or not. But all Android phones above 1.6 (according to those others in the know on this forum) have Google maps/navigation and the Inc release literature also confirms this.

See for me personally, I find that tweet VERY confusing...they refer to it as PRE-SALE ORDERS. This to me says: before we actually start selling it you can order it. Very poorly worded (or very well worded, I suppose, depending on your perspective).
 
I hate to hate, BUT, I'm gonna be mad if BB lets the phone out on the 18th, WHY, cause I can't upgrade till the 22nd. looks like there is a BB mobile store near me too, so here's hoping that the 29th holds true! Sippin on some hateraid!!!

That's what I was thinking too. Both the BB website and that tweet aren't very clear.

You'll probably have to call and ask. There are some strange requirements on that one (like you have to ineligible for certain upgrades) but you might just go ahead and talk them into it. Worth a shot, right?? After all, remember they get that data plan out of it. :)

I do not qualify for NE2, but verizon offered me a 'special promo' where i can upgrade at the 'discounted price' through the end of the month... i'm assuming the 199 for the Inc. I talked to 2 Verizon stores who both offered it to me, but i know how the Verizon website would know about it (my MyAccount says i am not eligible for any discounts) :confused::confused:

It's actually kind of depressing...
 
pretty sure it means just BB mobile stores, not the stores with the mobile dept. my local BB has the mobile dept and you can get phones and stuff, but it isn't listed on the BB Mobile website, the ones that are listed appear to be in malls.

I think we've jumped the gun a little. Its gotta be pre-order just misleadingly worded. The computer shows a delivery date of the 25th and I went by there today and they said it would be launched on the 29th and they just received their launch info.

Wishful thinking though.
 
Is there any advantage to buying phones at BBM vs verizon corporate/verizon online since everyone keeps talking about it?

also, if I do buy a phone from BBM, can I get it serviced (should the need arise) at a corporate store or do I have to go to BBM?

Nice!! i live an hour away from mentor! Def worth the drive if i could somehow get them to acknowledge the same "featurephone to smartphone dicount" Verizon is offering me! Any luck there you think?! :confused:
 
just letting you guys know, the best buy presale is for preordering it only. You won't be able to pick up your phone until the 25th at the earliest.
