yeah i think that store locator website is outdated...every bestbuy has a mobile department in it. why would certain bestbuy's have "better" mobile departments than others that were more or less capable? doesn't make sense..

edit: the only thing thats making me nervous is the fact that on the twitter-link, it says "stop by your nearest location to stake your claim!" ugh..the online customer service guy said there was a clear distinction of presale and preorder!

Can't help ya there, I just don't know. I'm gonna call tomorrow to find out if they're actually gonna have the phones or if it is just a preorder. No sense on preordering through bb when I can do it on the Verizon site and have it on the 29th.

I *want to believe but seriously doubt* i will walk into my local bestbuy store sunday and be able to walk out with an HTC Incrediblyamazing device. :rolleyes::D

These are not the same as regular Best Buy stores with mobile phone departments which is about every best Buy store I have been in.

Lol... if the Verizon people don't even get their prep materials until the 19th, how can Best Buy sell it on the 18th? The Verizon people aren't even going to know how to activate it.

but since vodafone is a 45% owner of VZW i would almost guarantee that it works... you may have to get an international plan tho... reps? any words of wisdom?

They did where I live. I got in the mall at 6.00 am through a side door and they opened at 6.30. I love my DROID but this phone sounds incredible. :) All my iPhone buddies are smirking but I like the android OS it is going to over run the iPhone OS.

Let me get this straight - Sprint is bragging about being the first to offer 4G while leaving out NYC, LA, SF & Silicon Valley?
