Root Boost mobile one sv kernel development

Hey Shinru I hate to be a bother but my wifi, fm radio is not working. It may be because I am not on the stock rom. I flashed JMZTAYLOR's ROM without backing up the stock rom. I was wondering if you have a copy of the original stock rom the phone comes with. Then the updates may finally work on my phone. It would be greatly appreciated!

Same as yours. Did you fastboot flash boot boot.IMG? And did you flash the zip it has the new modules in it.

I see where I goofed. I just fastboot flash boot boot.img. Reading this and your previous post where you explained that the kernel is not flashable, I've misinterpreted and did not flash the zip with modules. :o Now makes sense... Gonna try again. Thanks for clearing things up.

EDIT: Charlie looking good! Flashed the zip with modules only(Deleted boot.img) and now have WiFi back. Thanks again Shinru2004 for all your hard work. This is a sweet phone even sweeter with your hard work that is very much appreciated by those here on the forums. Good work. Thanks, can't tell you enough!

Yeah, I can make one for cricket. Its just a matter of adding your devices specific files into the kernel source. I have been working on making my kernel work for both devices. Just need to choose your device model number and build away!

that would be great, you are the best. is there anything you need from me to help in making a cricket kernel? my model is a k2_plc_cl

ok Finally got it. I had to use an alternate PC and I was able to fastboot flash the boot.img. WIFI is good. NFC, check. FM Radio check. Thanks dude. Cannot wait to see your ROM. Arrigato!

This is starting to get interesting. I can see the development for this phone exploding soon!
Kinda reminds me of the Prevail days.

I have Aokp 4.1 compiling now, but i will check out the link

We dont have a way to do S-off right now. the partition that needs to be written to has some sort of write protection i cant remove.

Why do we need S-off to put a custom ROMs on this phone? I thought S-off was more for changing radios, etc.

Hi, I have HTC One SV K2_UL 4g LTE on Virgin Mobile in the UK, Currently rooted and unlocked via the HTCDev site, I'm running JellyBean and also had a small 32mb update yesterday, can I use these kernals on my phone ? there doesn't seem to be much going on for my model of the one sv.

Hi Shinru! Haven't seen you in a while :)

Good luck with everything! I'm planning on getting the HTC One SV sometime this month, so I'm really excited to try out some of your stuff! And the thought of having jellybean on this thing is just completely blowing my mind!

By the way, what do you think of this phone? How is Boost's new LTE service? Is it a vast improvement over their 3g?
