Svz235, they can also damage their cpu beyond repair. LOL, they COULD actually blow it up in a manner of speaking. :p

Oh yeah. I've know several people who have damaged their phone by overclocking. Here and in the Prevail section. :eek:

Oh damn :O and I can see the prevail lol it was a low range smartphone so too much over clock and boom!!! Lol I still wonder why phone companies make low range smartphones and end their lives in like 6 months that's kind of messed up

Well, it just so happens that the Prevail help the position as one of Samsung all time leading sellers. How about dem apples! :D It's a damn good phone!

I've had 2 of them and they are virtually indestructible. That is of course unless you burn up the cpu! lmao :p

Lol probably cuz of the price, what did you do to them? I remember my first low end smartphone the LG Optimus M, oh how it took forever to load angry birds and would already run out of memory just by installing all three angry birds games ahhh good times lol. it was still a good phone ill admit. I honestly found it more responsive than the marquee lol. The highest it would go would be 787 mhz, of course I was precautious cuz I didn't know what would happen if I set it higher thank god I never went more higher

I sold 1 of them to my buddy and still have the other sitting on my desk. I ran CM7 on both with the S2E app. Kouma made a SSM which basically does the same thing as S2E. That's what I'm running now and it works beautifully.

Right now I've got 4 devices. Prevail, Marquee, One SV,and my TF300T Asus. LOL.... looks like I'm starting a collection. :D

Lol nice my optimus is now my cousins and it runs an HTC rom which is fabulous. Lol your way ahead of me all I got is my marquee. You got like 3 backup phones lol

Its still good to have them for backups and for tests of course I agree, to keep the communities alive and get some new stuff, like megatron and CM10 and the other roms in long development or deceased development

I didn't know that it takes a while to boot up the first time... So I took out my battery and now it won't do anything. Can't go in recovery mode either. Help me guys!

Try leaving the battery out for at least five minutes and unplugged from the charger. Then try going into recovery. Power and volume down. Not to brow beat you but be sure and read instructions fully before attempting anything. We have so many people who do not read instructions fully before attempting to root or flash their devices.

Srg, I've been racking my brain trying to think of something you can do but have come up empty. I really don't know what else to tell you if you can't get into CWM.

Hmmm, I've pulled my battery a few times when installing a ROM and that shouldn't make you lose CWM. I would try another battery if possible. If we can't get the phone to power on there's no chance of even trying to adb in.

Have you tried to plug the phone into a pc or charger? Try plugging it into a charger and see what happens. Let me know. I'll check back off and on.

One more thing..... sometimes it takes a bit for CWM to come up when holding power + volume down. Try holding it for at least 30 to 45 seconds.

Megatron 6.2.5 flashed and running like a champ Chev. I haven't got the phone activated but I used it to make a call with GrooveIP and it work perfectly. Looking good bro.

LOL, finally got the boot MegaTron animation I see. Nice.

Does anyone know how i can get the original wallpaper that came with the rom back? I changed my wallpaper but now i cant go back to the original.

Sorry to say but it looks like you've got a brick. Is it still under warranty? The good thing about a phone that won't boot is that a lot of the time they can't tell if it's rooted or not. Doesn't matter if you bought it or not. LG can tell you if the warranty is still good. If the warranty is good, send it to the factory. ;)
 
Hold down the volume down button the home button and the power button.... that's what I was told to do when I called LG and it worked for me good luck
 
I'm having a little bit of trouble with system apps not updating. Says something about package file not singed correctly.
