Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Hey everyone. Crazy couple of days here. My coworker/buddy's wife had to have an emergency c-section to get the baby a month early, but everything is expected to be ok. Then my youngest had a cardiologist appt. Yesterday. He was diagnosed with atrial septic defect, basically a hole in his heart between his left and right atrium. It will need surgery to fix, but thankfully can be done via heart cath, no open heart surgery, and also the only complications from the condition are due to progressive effects of living with it for many years, and since we caught it very early, no lasting complications are expected once fixed. And there is always the chance it fixes itself, they are going to wait a couple years before doing it just to make sure.

Finally woke up to my daughter's light being on in her room, went to check up on her, she is sleeping on one side of the bed, and evidence of a stomach bug on the other side, as well as the floor on the way to the bathroom. Poor thing is miserable. But she didn't come wake us up for some reason.

Hang in there Anti. Sounds like all will be OK thankfully. I rationalize most everything that happens to me (and I realize it is a rationalization) by saying "it could be worse." So best wishes to the kids (and to the 'rents who live with the worry).

Stay cool Anti.

Good morning! Woke up with some stiffness today.

Must be getting old!

Um... uh.... too easy.

So, I'm slightly annoyed with Amazon. I created a seller account there yesterday and listed one of my lenses there for sale in addition to my listing on eBay and another photography buy/sell forum. The lens sold on eBay last night and I removed the listing from Amazon first thing this morning. About 5 minutes ago I received a notification that someone had bought the lens on Amazon...a delay in the inventory system caused it to to be removed so I had to cancel the buyer's order. I'm sure the buyer won't be happy with me and it was my first listing there.

If you were on Walmart website around 6 hours ago you could have had some good deals to pick from, even if you didn't use some of the stuff you could have sold any of it and made some money.

One guy bought 4 55'' Samsung tvs for $329ea., one of their better models at that. Usually around $1100

Computer monitors were $9

Newer video games were $18

Another guy bought weights and an elliptical

Now you tell me.

Finally flashed Kit Kat (via Shiny) for my Gnex. Restoring apps now, not a huge fan of the new font and huge icons. "Okay Google" works just fine. Looking into what else it can do. :)
