Our dinner out last night was incredible. It certainly lives up to its reputation. Best meal we've had in DC in a long time!

THE MENU | Roses Luxury
We shared the pork sausage, popcorn soup, fried chicken and cauliflower.
Desserts (not listed), a pear dish and something based on vanilla I don't recall. Sat at the counter in full view of the kitchen. Service was insanely comforting and fun. Drinks were really tasty too.
Place is still maintaining 5 stars on Yelp, and since they don't take reservations it super packed when we got there just around 5:30!

I find it hard to believe that anyone doesn't drink coffee. However, I too am an aficionado of carbonated prune juice.

Are you kidding? Dr. Pepper is haute cuisine compared to some of the stuff we consume in the U.S. Velveeta cheese-like substance comes to mind. Not to mention aerosol pancake batter.
