I know what you mean. I used to get calls from friends and family members asking me to rescue their computer after they "tried" to reinstall Windows.

People should do a LOT of homework before they attempt anything involving an operating system!

I once had jumper cables, a box of condoms, latex gloves and those small alligator clips that go on the end of wires. It was years ago and I can't even remember what i needed the gloves and clips for but the look on the cashiers face was priceless! She was trying not to laugh as hard as she could but never said anything. I hadn't even thought about what it may have looked like lol.

how do you tell someone that you just don't want to hear it anymore?? and not hurt their feelings.. seriously...I'm DONE...it just sucks every ounce of emotional energy out of me:(
 
I know how you feel Huh ( i think ) , a buddy of mines comes over almost everyday since he only lives a couple of houses away from me and every night he complains about his girl dumping him because he was too cheap and by that i mean he has no car and everytime they go out he never pays for anything and always had her bringing him food and stuff.... now he's sad because he finally saw the light and feels like a Moocher and now she won't reply to him on FB blah blah blah. He's a friend and i told him he messed up and i didn't blame her for breaking up with him .... so was i in the wrong for telling him that :confused:

When I find out my mother is in the hospital because she called me the day after she was admitted through the E.R. when both my father and sister knew it on day one. Both of them know better than to trust ma to communicate that, especially because SHE is the one in the hospital.
My sister and I have a pact to communicate these things to one-another because our parents (especially ma) are notoriously bad at telling us things in a timely manner.
Where were you sis?!

My dad was notoriously bad at going to the doc. A couple of years ago, after he'd clearly been unwell for a month or more, we finally persuade him to go. Came back saying the doc wasn't there any more. Huh? Well, when did you last go? 1959.
 
Google is grinding my gears now.
My application storage is full of Google apps which can't be moved to the SD card or uninstalled. They push apps to the phone that I didn't ask for and they take up all my space so I can't install the apps I want.
 
I hear you guys... my dad finally told me he was in the hospital after he'd been there for several months.

My sibs don't talk to me unless they need something, and my mom didn't want to worry me.

I told him I would fly out to visit him and help him get his affairs in order (long story, I'll just get angrier if I relate it...) within a week.

He died the next day.
