so you dont delete posts in the incredible thread yet you randomly delete over 20 posts in this thread? i though you said that you encourage discussion?

brings me back to that one post you deleted about the poster saying something about MODS going on a power trip... weird isnt it?
 
Why quote Trident? He didn't delete the posts, I did. I also warned what would happen if this thread continued the way it had been going.

As for the Official Incredible Thread (which is the one I assume you are referring to), I suggest that you read the post from Phases on Page 1 which sets out exactly why that thread is treated differently.
 
A lot of people seem very eager to rollback to 1.5. Is everyone having issues with the leaked versions of 2.1 or do most of you just want root?
 
ive had a few little issues with it, messaging and emails, notifications and things like that. little things, not big enough to make me want 1.5 again.
root however.... ;)

i quoted trident because as i told you in the pm i didnt know it was you who deleted teh posts because i was busy writing the thread when you posted your post. so how was i to know what you said in your post when it wasnt even written at the time i was writing my post?

ohh right i forget. i was supposed to use a time machine to go to the future and read your post, then go back in time and delete my post because it violates freedom of speech.

I didn't delete anything, Slug did and they were deleted rightfully so. Believe it or not, a lot more posts than you think are deleted from the Incredible thread. We encourage CREATIVE, PRODUCTIVE discussion is I guess what I should have said.

No need for sarcasm - this was another cross-over. And don't play the "freedom-of-speech" card, please. You're still expected to abide by the forum rules.

I've already admitted that I acted in haste and will get the infraction reversed asap. Please don't make me regret my decision.

i apologize trident. i though it was you who deleted them because i didnt see slugs post about him deleted them because i was busy writing a post.
 
can you help get us back on topic and tell us whats going on with the rollback? maybe if this comes through they will have other things to talk about for a while. so any news?

like i said in my pm, i apologize for that. i didnt see all these mod and pm posts till after i already posted my posts. and there doesnt seem to be an edit button so i cant change what i posted. sorry. and thanks again for trying to get my infraction reversed.

The OP stated earlier that he is in school and his cousin is as well. He is still trying to get his cousin to write the guide and will try to post something this weekend.

All we know so far.

Although I did talk to Jcase and I really think that he is on track and perhaps in the future he will have something great for us.

Even if the OP is legit, in his last post he made it seemed like his cousin didn't want to be bothered with this right now. Not a priority for him.
So i wouldn't hold my breath guys.
Might be a while.

I mostly want root so that I can switch to the Eclair lock screen without all of the bugs that come with LockBot.
Live wallpapers would be nice too if it didn't slow the phone down too much.

Also, thank you Slug for cleaning up a bit. It would be a shame if we lost an exploit due to drama.

I'll be the news ticker in this thread.

It is confirmed FroYo will fully support Flash. So, you know what that means, right? 2.1 is it, as far as a new firmware update. Maybe some bug fixes, maybe, but after that, we're gonna coast it out until the end of our contracts.

Might mean we catch the Snapdragon processor on its way out. Kinda like how we caught the Eris processor on its way out. :(
