Screw all of these unreliable leaks. I'm ditching for the Incredible ASAP (it's currently sold out) to deal with unreliable leaks on a bigger screen

So, I installed the new leak about 2 hours ago. Did the +228 options 1 and 2, and have not had to do the airplane mode trick. I've got 0% time without signal thus far, so it seems to be working fine for me.

I can confirm that apps like BofA and Digg now show the web pages like they should as well.

All around, good stuff.

what are yall talking about? what kind of bug is this and how do i check to see if I have it??

The airplane trick won't fix coverage or give you more bars. It only "fixes" a bug in the system that shows your time without signal at 50%.

Is it just "showing" 50% or is the signal really gone 50%?

followed instructions, didnt open zip just placed it on sd not in a folder. held volume down and hit power, it doesnt seem to find zip it only gives an option to recover in the fast boot screen. when I do this it shows a pic of the phone and a red triangle over it with a exclamation point within it?

I've done this before and it seemed to work when I flashed version 2, and now I dont know?

You have to right click on the file and click download file as and save it directly to your sd card. That's how I got around that on my mac

Im checking right now to see if version 2 is somewhere on the sd? maybe thats inhibiting it

every time i download on my mac it finishes downloading and then says something along the lines of unsuccessful decompression? anyone have that?

you need to download file as...and save it directly to your sd card.

I tried the Nexus Photo Gallery. I loved it. Only things left I need on the final version are friendstream and protected apps. I doubt we will get live wallpaper but it would be nice.

If you mean Google Talk, it's pre-installed on the phone. Did it used to be called "GTalk"? It's just "Talk" now.

Ok so i tried another file and same thing this time rebooted it and went back into the sd and checked the properties of it and it showed 0 bytes I did this twice now and each time it erases the Zip? any thoughts?

that damn audio dropping out in the middle of the freaking call is back with this version as well.....

Well time to update to v3...my main issue with v2 was dialer lag...the other ones I could handle...I hope v3 improves dialer lag!!!!

Thanks for posting and giving me something to be excited about on my phone in lieu of the Incredible launch lol! I just keep telling myself in 6 more months the Incredible will be obsolete and my Eris will still be a good phone.
