Does the kitkat 4.4 update

i wanted to know if the kitkat 4.4 update change the user interface of the lg optimus f6 am new to the fourms

Mostly some of the blue turns to white and somethings turn transparent, also more features will be added from LG and Google

I guess I should say that I just got this phone recently, but it's also my first smart phone. I basically understand nothing when it comes to android...

Yeah, it's the F6. It's a few different things put together. gravitybox+kk launcher Pro (L Beta), and a few things here and there. my next job is to rework the systemui.apk if I can and get a cleaner looking notification tray.. Wish me luck.. Gonna make it look like the kitkat (or L preview) counterpart. I think I could implement a double swipe for a second area. That actually seems feasible.

I also have a ton of performance mods installed to make it as quick as a higher end phone than it is.

No.. you have to install it with a root browser and redo the settings on them.

exactly.. push to system/app and then reset the permissions to rw-r--r-- and then you should reset your phone.

It's not working. I just got up and got my phone and tested it. Just crashed a whole lot. I'll fix it eventually and move this to the root forum when it is all good. I think I know what I did wrong.
