Root [MetroPCS / TMOBILE] [ROM] U.S. KitKat MINI 4.4.2

My phone randomly rebooted last night and the only thing that changed... Root broke....

I reflashed three times... And I don't know what's going on... But, it refuses to keep root...

Framaroot won't flash... It won't connect via USB for vroot...towelroot... is stupid... And.. F6 utilities root just blinks...

And Google keeps flashing a warning about how safe things are that I'm trying to install... It's the first time I've ever seen that ....

I don't mind trying over and over.. It's just comical ... Like ... I dunno.....

I'm just lucky it's not totally useless and I can't use it to call ....

Uh.... Could that be something new with Google services?.. Because I keep installing Google launcher ........ that would be a suck if that was the case

You can disable the warnings from Google in settings. Go to settings/security and right below unknown sources you will see that verify apps is checked. Uncheck it and you won't get the warnings when you install an app to root your phone.
 
And today I flashed mini again... This is where I got stopped with insufficient storage warnings... After installing 4 apps...

After properly formatting everything

And not signing into Google... Or installing any Google related apps from backup...

How much external sdcard is free to Move apps to.

Yes that happens when you try the sdhack and try going back to 442 0s. You gotta backup apps and personals to pc and wipe sd card.

If you wiped the phone and sdcard completely, clean installed mini rom thats as good as the phone will do with this rom.

Tell us which works or if you unbricked and went back to stock or flashed some other rom.

Well as for me trying. The sdhack on mini all it did was not mounting the externalsd... So i had to wipe factory reset/ format system/ format cache/ format data/ format data.media/ flash the rom againg... I could it just fash backup but wanna to try sdhack with clean install... I notice when you do yhe hack it will mount exVfat againg.. Causing a commotion in the vold... And brakes e2fck so need it to start all over again... So no sdhack ...
 
I figured out something...

Kind of... Last night before all the weirdness started.

I put my SD card in my wife's new RCA tablet so I could give her some apps n games that are on it..

It has Kit Kat... it somehow it infected the apps ..?.. or I dunno ... and then... Somehow got my SD card to act as internal ? (I say allot of stuff that doesn't make sense.. So this won't be new)

Because I flashed mini again without signing in... No apps installed.. And it showed the same storage into... More app than total space....

I deleted backups of apps from my card.. And now it says I have a little over a gig available internal... Without using any apps other than what was installed.....

Now this freaky (magic of weirdness) ... came with a another bad side. .. after every flash of mini without any apps or hacks ... has broken root...

And refused to let me root it via USB or app....

A side note... Going to the towel root website with chrome... And clicking the symbol causes it to flood with empty tabs.. I stopped it at 60 the first time...

Dunno about sd stuff.. Very weird... Un less u had format it using ext4... If so u would hav to format back to fat32 get everything u can from a pc . For root all u need is twl.root.apk. then just dl Supersu update n it should b fine.

I just installed this ROM to my F6 D505, but still no wifi working. It gets stuck to "Turning Wi-fi on", staying like this forever. I wiped everything before installing this rom.
I also tried Cyanogenmod and Xperion realses, but none of them had the wifi working.
Is there anybody here having at list the slightest ideea why this doesn't work ??

This is the source code for your phone our F6 KK rom was cooked by a great and kind developer here in the USA.
Due to the differences in hardware it would be your best resource to start with.

and link2sd could'nt install ... i did'nt use any hacks...it told me i ran out of space after restoreing my logs and junk ,,but, no apps with super backup

thats the drawback ....besides all the apps that were reported installed were in not ..the four i installed added up to around 70 megs ...

unfortunately, the LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL won't see the device as D505, but as MS500, so its different hardware for this one
i'm currently running the kitkat mini and i'm very pleased of it, except the wifi and camera
 
I formatted my SD with new partitions... Installed unofficial cm11 with the right gappa and Trevor's SD hack... and it refuses to let me install apps from SD...

MAGICAL TO SAY THE LEAST... yeah....

If the battery life on my premia wasn't measured in minutes I'd toss this phone
 
i reinstalled cm11 unofficial ...and root broke before any apps were installed...same with Carbon...back to mini kk...root broke upon install

I tried motochopper and it's said it worked... But didn't...

But towelroot decided to... Rooted again....

If you do an unbricking using these files found at this link you should fix your D505 Phone.

Hey guys! Just a question, I've tried installing this rom about 5 times and haven't gotten it to work yet. The first issue I had was transferring the zip to my phone. Didn't work so I just renamed the extension transferred and renamed it back to .zip. But even now when I try to install it in cwm it fails saying it can't open the zip. Is their something I need to do with op link orr? Thanks in advance :)
 
Mi first question hav u parted ur SD?
Did u downloaded from pc.. If so make sure that the dl is complete n not broken.
Hav you wipe factory reset n formated system.cache.data. n data media.?
 
Partitioned the sd card? Yes, and reformatted before doing so. I downloaded from pc three times but will try again and check the file later tonight. And when installing yes, factory resetted and formatted all of the above.

Ok... Hopefully sd is not parted for sd.hack if so its not gonna work... N which recovery are you using?
