Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

It's good to know I'm probably clear of thrombosis, galstones and abdominal aortic aneurysms. :) they want to try and make sure I'm not going to become seriously ill while in I'm here. Which is good.
 
With Google apparently wanting to take more of an interest in the world's largest Android market.

...as well as certain things, now coming with many Chinese phones, like Oppo and Vivo, as well as every new Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 5, etc.

Yeah just so sad to see an app that was barely 1mb and perfect get bought by a spam beast and data harvester and grow to over 2mb overnight. But on the same note I'm glad the dev got a payday. Was my go gallery app for years.
 
And when Google(Alphabet, Inc.) wants to see some more data mining and advertising action, a small but very successful startup, like Cheetah Mobile, is what they might aquire. That's if the likes of Baidu, Tencent or Alibaba doesn't get there first.

The Facebook Pages Manager app is grinding my gears.
For one... I cannot turn off notifications permanently.
For one more... The flag in its app icon is waving to the right, whilst in the notification icon the flag is waving to the left.

The Cheetah Mobile Clear Master app actually destroyed my RCA Tablet a couple of years ago.
 
The lengths I go to just to ensure that my laptop will have reliable power...

My stationary charger is dying. Specifically, the cord is wearing out. Rather than pay $75 for an OEM charger from the factory, I can pay $20 for a replacement at that one online store, but the plug it straight whereas the original is 90-degree. The 90-degree is better for my purposes.

So now, I get to spend $8 more for an adapter.

But then, I thought, well what if I bought an extension cord, straight to 90-degree? It's almost always the tip that dies, anyway... Digikey has 3' extensions for $3.21 before shipping...

How's your situation coming along? I know your accident was far worse than mine, & more complicated. It's just so annoying when you're driving along, following the law of the road, not doing a thing wrong in the world & then you have to deal with the hassle of getting things fixed & getting everything worked out.

The Prius was totaled; getting a nice check to replace it with, but down to one vehicle at the moment.

... And wouldn't you know it, just for a flat tire, so I am going to have to go and get it patched or replaced after work.
