Root [ROM] Bugless Beast V1.1

Made it to Bugless Beast alright and now restoring apps and settings. It's kind of exhausting to have to hit the install button for each one, though. Is there any way around this so this process doesn't take forever or is this a paid version feature? D:

Yep, with the paid version, you can batch restore.

Has anyone had problems with the wired tether? Im using p3's kernal with BB1.1 and for some reason the wired tether wont work. Any ideas?

Ive had horrible battery life at 800 mhz im loseing 5 percent every 15 minutes

Try a different kernel. Bekit kernels hate my phone. P3 kernels love it. Test them out and see what works for you. If you go into the CM section of Rom Manager, there is a nice list of Bekit and P3 kernels to choose from.

I have only held back on an update once, but NexBeast 1.0.1 is much much smoother and v1.1 was a bit flaky overall.
Hmmm.
This was with a clean triple wipe.

Mines a tad bit faster with v1.1. I guess different droids have different results.

This new ROM is great so far I find it faster and all around more stable with my apps than version 1.0.
I had been having fc issues lately, I have seen none since loading 1.1. Yeah and 9 screens are crazy, thanks Pete.

Sent from my screaming fast Droid using tapatalk.

I am using a p3droid because that always works for me on all roms

I need help! I installed the nexbeast rom with the 1.3ghz LV kernel and after it was done backing up and installing it was rebooting and it went to a black screen. I installed it the way you did in your overclocking video. Im a noob at most of this stuff please help me fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks!

My phone cant take over 1250. Sometimes phones are finicky with LV too.
Nandroid back and start at 1000 - flash higher each time until you get a boot loop or black screen, then nandroid back and apply the highest stable kernel.

I loaded BB V1.1 smoked glass and only have 5 home screens but I thought it said it was going to have 9. Its my first time rooting so I dont know what I am doing

This happens to me every time I try flashing 1.3Ghz... my Droid just won't flash it without boot-looping. Nandroid recovery fixes the boot loop. 1.2Ghz flashes without a hitch every time. From what I've seen on here, there only a few who can run 1.3Ghz stable.

Does anyone know if enabling JIT on this ROM will make a big difference in performance? I heard some people enabled it and din't get much of a performance boost....

Noob here, just rooted my Droid, not very experienced. Installed BB v1.1 through ROM Manager. All was well until reboot where the startup screen repeats! Please tell me their is a solution, I can get to clockwork mod by good ol' holding down x and powering up. Rebooting from there does not work either. Noooooooo...

-Please help-

Wipe. Restore backup. You did back up, right?

After moving from .9 to 1.1 everything has been great! Thanks Pete!!

One slight wonder? At first I had 2 choices of "home" screens....Either home or I believe launcher?? Well, after choosing the original "home" as default, I can't seem to find where launcher is to turn that back on?

Can anyone chime in as to where that setting is?

Also, I was using smoked glass with the .09 ver and after moving to 1.1, I did not download the smoked glass again....I still seem to have the smoked glass theme, does anyone know if there is any reason or difference to download the "possibly" newer version?

Thanks In Advance,

Steve

Download the free app Home Switcher from the market. It will allow you to switch between your different launchers and set the default.

1.1 seems to have greatly improved my battery life. I don't think ive changed my usage, and my phone has lasted since i took it off the charger last night around (at which point it had only made it to like 80%) until now, and its still at 40%! Maybe im taking the battery percentage indicator too seriously on the 1.1 update idk? but usually my battery is completely dead by now >.
