I recently update to Gingerbread and was wondering if the camera gets a firmware update automatically with Gingerbread or if you have to update it manually? Thanks.

...until Sprint/Samsung puts out another update for all the issues of Gingerbread! I NEED a working GPS and I don't want that loud shutter sound on the camera people are saying they have. :( Does anyone agree with me?

Is it possible to unroot the Samsung Epic by just going into ClockWork and returning to the factory settings? The whole odin thing is confusing...:(

I am rooted and want to update to Gingerbread, so I need to ODIN back to stock and do the update manually. I am afraid though that when I ODIN, my apps like Titanium Backup and Bloat Freezer will be lost. Will that happen? Should I make a backup in recovery before I ODIN? Thanks.

Or do I have to ODIN back to stock for Sprint to be able to send me the update?

I think it is. When I froze both of those using Bloat Freezer, whenever I got a text there would be no sound. Also, when I went into the phone's settings, it would always freeze up and I would have to force close. Then, I un-froze both DRM content and DRM content launcher and re-booted the phone...

My volume was up the whole way and someone was calling me, but my ringer was not going off. So I answered the call but I heard nothing on the other end. So I ended the call and began to press icons on my phone to see if there was that normal clicking sound...there was no sound at all. No sound...

I have everything turned off when I don't need it (4g/3g, wifi, bluetooth, GPS, etc.), my brightness is at the lowest level, I have most of the bloatware uninstalled with Blot Freezer, I have background sync turned off...I tried every battery saving technique I found on the internet. Something...

So I just noticed that I have the bug that tricks my phone into thinking that there is no signal or whatever!:p Anyway, I checked the "cell standby" option in the battery usage and I saw that the time I had without signal was 95%!:eek: I heard it should be around 50%? How do I do the airplane...

Which one is better for GPS? I have only used google maps so far, I have never tried sprint navigation.

What do you guys think?

Is it possible? I am rooted (one click root) and want to fix my keyboard from missing keystrokes. I think I have to at least have a kernel flashed to fix the keyboard.:confused:

So I just noticed today, that when I have my Epic on vibrate and I get a text message, my phone does not vibrate.:confused: I checked my vibratation settings and it is set to "vibrate only in silent mode" and my phone is in silent mode? Help please...

So I recently rooted my Epic with one click root for the main purpose of fixing the keystrokes not registering on slide out keyboard issue. I downloaded the zip file for the patch from XDA and installed it on my phone, but it did not work. :confused: I still get keys that do not register. Anyone...

I am using the stock internet browser and I and wondering if I am missing out...are the internet apps you can get from the App Store faster and better than the stock internet browser? Also, do they save more battery?
