I compared my screens to another optimus v and my screen is dimmer on the same settings. have you compared to another v and were they the same? (I'm running a rom so does that make a difference?)

i unrooted using gingerbreak but when it booted it still had aosp mod on it. i checked and it was unrooted. can i factory reset from settings menu? by the way it is an lg optimus v.

I played some awesome music in the background as I followed the step in the thread on this forum involving rooting without computers. But I flashed the aosp mod instead along with gapps. Didn't get it on the first try but after clearing everything(boot,system,etc) I flashed again and it worked...
