If I have to touch my watch to see if I have a notification then the watch is pointless as I can just as easily look at my phone's LED light. Both actions will cause me to stop what I'm doing and take off my gloves (or simply stop coding if that is what I am doing) so the watch would be pointless.

They should at least allow you to swipe it away until a new song comes on. This is a HUGE oversight. How do you create a WATCH that won't give you the time if you are listening to music. This is not a watch it is a notification assistant that will sometimes show the time.

Well that settles it, the watch is going back. If I can't read the time half the time then the watch is useless.

I am looking for advice on what carrier to use for a month-to-month plan in Canada. It would be great if you could call to the US without long distance charges but as long as I can text to the US and receive calls from the US I would be OK. Does anybody have advice/ideas?
