Now I've got a new phone (Galaxy S3) I want to set up my old DHD with a new Sim as a "friends only" phone. Is there a way to set the phone to block ALL incoming calls except those from contacts I've specifically selected? Thanks guys.

How much power does a dialer use? Battery usage shows my DHD's dialer is using 20% of power, the display using 22% and voice calls using 28%.

Just lately my DHD has developed this syndrome where the display doesn't turn-off after the set time, it just goes dim. It doesn't seem to matter what the screen time-out period is set to. This is causing battery charge life to shorten noticeably as unless I put the screen to sleep manually...

I'm getting a bigger (16 or 32 gig) SD card for my DHD and I assume I need to copy all the contents of my old card across to the new one. Is it just a case of select all on the old card and copy straight across? Or is there a bunch of stupid hidden/system files I need to find as well?

Anybody know of a ringtone/notification creator like Ringdroid (which lets you take a selection from an mp3) that then lets you normalise the ringtone/notification sound (in order to maximise it)? I don't want/need to create my own tones enough to mess around with editing on my PC, but...

Not a big deal, but the icons for some of my apps have been replaced by Android icons. The apps still work, but it would be convenient to have the original icons back. Any ideas?

I'm just idly curious, but is there a way to have nothing at all as the wallpaper on my HTC Desire HD? By that I mean, not a totally black picture, but totally no picture at all, just the blank screen except for application thumbnails? My understanding is that even just a picture of black takes...
