htc wildfire

Hi can anyone tell me the settings for a wildfire for mms. It seems to be a common problem mms will not download and will not send. Just get generic network failure. Would be grateful if anyone can help. I am a little technologicaly challenged.

Has anyone else had this problem. When replying to a text it sends as usual but goes to an entirely different contact than the thread you are replying to. It has happened a couple of times now. Also it sometimes opens up an entirely different contact to the one you select on the message list.
