How do you figure? He must have called him from his cell to tell him he had the update. The cell in which he could very easily come on here with and validate said update. Or did 2.1 crash his internet access from his phone thus rendering it useless for everything but making a phone call?

Must have missed the "He's on a plane" post the first go around.

Still, a guy that writes a tutorial for this site doesn't come on here to say he got it before he gets on a plane, but instead just casually texts his boy about it.

Most people on earth have better things to do than go on a forum and scream to the high heavens about some os update for their phone. You know, important stuff like catching your flight to get home to your family.
 
After reading the first post I already knew I was posting this on 4Chan if he ends up lying. He'll be hunted down, pooped on, and it'll be recorded and put all over Digg.
