2.1 OTA Beginning 5/11/2010

yea i can restart and boot my phone it works just cant do recoveries or anything that involves my turning my phone on with volum power held down


seems its not in my history lol or i just am not looking hard enough just google hot to update droid eris to 2.1 and its a a forum thats red and black i think it has v4 in it
 
I barely have time to be on this forum. When I have time, I'm here to learn more about this phone, help when I can, and occasionally throw in a bit of humor.

Running with 2.1v3 for the past few weeks has been great and I'm not in any real hurry to get the "official" 2.1. It will get here when it gets here.

When I get it, I will post that I got it. I will not be trying to log it to get it to everybody.

First, I don't have time.

Second, I don't know how. (if you think i should read the instructions as to how to do it, read my first reason)

Third, There are plenty of people with the know-how to do that anyway.

In two weeks time, everyone here will be clamoring to get 2.2. "Will the Eris get it?", "when will the Eris get it?", "class-action lawsuit!", blah, blah, blah...

And apparently logging the URL will not allow people to update any sooner anyway. Looks like everyone is stuck waiting for the OTA or until it is posted on verizon or pcdphones.

I will have a new, updated Rom Links thread up within then next day. I am currently collecting all the links I can find for Roms and Kernels. Any help would be appreciated but I'll have more info on the thread. Thanks for your patience!

I don't skim. I've been on this thread all day reading posts and replying. If you go back a few pages you can find answers to every question you've asked, even the ones I answered for you.

All I'm saying is do a little searching before you ask questions that probably have already been asked.

Does anyone else here have problems typing a message due to "Fat fingers?"

Ok, be specific about what "can't go to Market" means. It doesn't open? The icon isn't there? It doesn't list apps?

The more info you provide, the more we can help.
