Does this by chance also mean that the XOOM will be arriving on the same date? (If you are by chance privy to that info, if not don't worry. I'm totally iimpressed with your level of access - even jealous.)

I would suggest sending this to one of the blogs to keep that release date pushed back rumor from getting worse. 18 units might not be enough LOL
but its nice to see a purchase order confirming an ETA of 24th.

I wonder if this means pre-orders at VZW will begin on line on Monday or if they will skip pre-ordering all together and just do the whole business on Thursday next week. (glad i'm off that day (24th) :P LOL i'm such a dork...:o
 
were a relatively small store( not corporate) thats our first day shipment we will probably get more through the week.

Call me a pessimist, but how does this confirm that they will be released the 24th? Yes, lets say I believe this is genuine (the poster is a veteran here), 18 Thunderbolts are on their way to this store on the 23rd, which lines up with the comment the HTC CEO made about them shipping...

But if the phone HAPPENED to be delayed again to the 28th, couldn't that have been done after these started shipping to stores?

And as an aside, if any of you were around for the Incredible launch, the Thunderbolt launch is turning out to be allmost as big a cluster-f that that was. Just no box in the middle of Montana or whatever bumf*ck hell that was taking place in.
 
If there in stock, do you always sell them? I mean, have you ever gotten phones before a release and been told by VZW NOT to sell them?

I assume you haven't been told of a release date yet, so if they say nothing... u guys just go ahead and sell?

What does it show for a release date for this phone? TBD still?
