That's the Vodafone branded version, but it will be based off the same firmware.

Oh thanks, yea i saw that post but didn't really pay attention because the update version for me is different. In the link I posted earlier says it increases the processor speed, i wonder if it's true.
 
I already got this update for my DHD.. is this update really resolve the wifi issue? because when I see my software information.. my software number only just update to 2.50.405.2 and others are none.. is that for wifi issue?

In first post on this thread there's a link when i visit it is this for upgrading DHD into this version?

I'm using now 2.3.3 and kernel: 2.6.35.10. But here in this version its kernel: 2.6.35.13? When i'm trying to update my DHD there's no available update to such things... Do i need to download it and install? or I will wait until my DHD search for an update...

This is improved version of stock ROM - no visual changes!
New kernel: 2.6.35.13 (under volted & tweaked). Details below:
CPU up to 1.61GHz (1.22GHz by default) - controlled automatically by built it O/C Daemon. Details are in this post
If you want to control CPU manually, you would need SetCPU from here: SetCPU
In SetCPU remember to check "Set on Boot", but using built in O/C Daemon give much better performance and battery then SetCPU
Many CPU governors (Smartass, Ondemand, Performance, Conservative, Userspace)
GPU+ patch (Improved 2D & 3D Graphics performance - Thanks to -snq)

Hi Demi, what's linked to is a custom ROM based on the official HTC Software which is why you're seeing a difference.

If you want ARHD installed, you'll need root your handset.
 
i never had a wifi connection issue but i was having wifi hotspot connection issues. while using wifi hotspot the connection between my phone and macbook would drop every so often, say like every 5-10minutes. I thought this was because of the screen going to sleep, even with the hotspot option "Always On" checked. But now after the update i stay connected and here is no more disconnection, even when the screen goes to sleep.
 
how to determine if your phone is branded or unbranded... Sorry if this out off the topic... but I think even branded or unbranded will get a update once the phone or system of your phone detect that there's new update from network....
