Help 404 / Database errors / Random Users and Staff unable to post in random forums & threads

I really think it's time to post a global message advising everyone on the forums that we are aware of the issue and that we're working quickly to resolve it. the M9 thread, which should be very active right now is almost a ghost town. people need to know that it's not their pc or device that is having the issue., and that the issue is not being ignored.

This is really hurting the people looking for help because they aren't getting replies.

In forum

Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

Inside message #2511 madbats reply to XxteXx007Xx message I see android forums has kindly placed my avatar picture as XxteXx007Xx's avatars picture.

However when I use same phone n use my phones web browser to see if it is still there its not but if I use AF app its there

Try clearing cache in the forum app / tapatalk.

Its still there.
Thank you for you're help good sir.
I feel this could be part of an existing issue when seeing other members avatar pictures on other members names. Could add confusion to many of forums when trying to help others recover from a bricked phone.

I'm not seeing it that way though, which is why I think it may be on your end.:(

"When I just posted this to unforgiven I clicked done
Then back button to check another post
Then clicked forward button I noticed my post to unforgiven was gone . I then clicked refresh then popped up a message I received a like on my message here n then my post just appeared.

So what I'm trying to say here is next time u go to post n it fails to do so try waiting for a minute then click refresh.
I remember this was happening to me some time ago n resulted in double posting

Yeah, the lag and whatnot is related to the issue in this thread and does seem to act like the old double posting errors we were having when we first moved to XF. It is separate from the swapped avatar bug. That seems to be limited to Tapatalk and its offspring, the AF forum app.

Thank for helping me clear that up. I've learned when browser fails go to Tapatalk if that fails restart my phone. Android phones kind of remind me of windows 95 each time u make a change u had to take a restart for the new changes to take an effect. Lmao.....

I've never been a fan of Tapatalk,FWIW.
IMHO,it never could,now or in the past,hold a candle to the OG PHANDROID/AF app. ;)

Things are still not 100%:
"My Posts" remains blank.
Viewable in "Recent posts",but,not in "My Posts"
Perfectly OKEY DOKEY w/me,but,may be a sign not all is well........................................
 
Update:
"My Posts" History doesn't go back very far,only to 4/14/15.
Otherwise,it appears everything has settled down.
 
I get zero results when searching for my own posts. (click avatar and then click number of posts). For another member with over 4,000 posts, it only shows one thread. :(

Correction,"My Posts" is once again reset,showing todays' posts only.
On-Line presence has found the Fountain-Of-Youth,but,my carbon-based presence is unaffected.
Not Fair............................ :wtfdroid:
 
Ok. I've been randomly having the site screw up and display the drop down menu as part of the page




The first picture is what i see in a thread, the second is when viewing a forum .

Clearing the cache in my browser usually fixes it, but before the transition this never happened...

Android 4.2.2, using Boat Browser


Also, it appears tapatalk hasn't caught up with the @root change and still shows multiple root sections (which error when selected)
