Help 4G LTE is down, again

Newbie
I have both the Samsung 4gLTE Hotspot and Galaxy Nexus, both have no 4G. wtf?
I called into VZW support, he said not very many have complained. I am in Detroit burbs.

Thanks rdcamero, I started thinking it was just me, or my local tower. Support doubted me. I did get a text from Verizon that they are working on my ticket. "the issue your reported is being investigated. You will receive notification when the issue is resolved ticket #NRB000004976406

I just called Verizon Wireless and the automated system stated that they were aware of the problem using the 4G Device in my area and are working on the issue.

No point in talking to anyone, so I hung up.

I am in Baltimore and nothing. I am pretty fired up as the last two times I have needed to use my hotspot on my Nexus or Novatel it has been down.

Down in Indianapolis. Ha! WTF ? I left AT&T because of this bullshit. I hope vzw can get their act together. I've only had this phone for 3 days. Love it, but its going to be problematic if it won't connect on a regular basis...

I redact this all data 4G and 3G is down in the ATL area as of 1:45PM est

Maybe that's a good thing, and means they are rebooting something to bring everything up?

...what?!? I'm a glass half full kinda guy...

I really need them to get the network back up, I'm at work and need to flash some Axi0m 2.1 buttery goodness!!!

Should we all be contacting Verizon to open up tickets or will they just work the entire 4G network?

It can't hurt, but it might be a waste of time. If they know it's down then they are working on it, unfortunately more tickets won't make it go faster. If you have the time though... :)

I'm in the Studio City / Universal City area (Los Angeles, CA to be more general) at work and getting no data. Didn't notice at home because I was on wifi.

Edit: In the comments in this Phandroid article about it someone mentioned if you switch your data to CDMA only (from CDMA + LTE) you can get 3G. I tried it and it works, but the 3G signal doesn't seem that great right now.
