I agree, there are a lot of cloud services out there that are free. However, they are not free for unlimited storage. Usually the "free" cloud service is no more than a few Gigabytes. Thus, my point stands.
Marketers play as close to the role of "drug dealer" as they can. Once they get us all on "Cloud Services" by enticing us with "free" storage, they'll either slowly decrease the amount of storage that's free until it's not worth using the "free storage" anymore, or, once we're all using the free storage, and can't live without it, they'll end the free storage and start charging everyone, along with keeping phone memory at 64Gb or less.
Personally, I have around 114Gb of music, add to that 8 or 10 movies, app storage, personal data and games, and about 1,200 photos, and (for me) 128Gb is perfect! Sigh... I really don't want to give in to the powers that be, but, maybe a way around this is to buy the 16Gb Note 2 and buy two 64Gb Micro SD's. I'd just have to find a way to tote the 2nd Micro SD card around without ruining it.
