Just got the update here in Boston MA @ 8AM
Awesome - I just checked and still nothing for me, but I imagine it'll happen at some point today if other Boston area people are getting it now.
How are your upload & download speed after the update?

I manually installed the update but now certain apps wont show up when I search for them in the market. For example, can anyone find the game "Legends Arcana" on the market? Shows up for my EVO... but not for my Epic.
Just walked around the office for a second, and things seem better. 673 down/225 up. That's the first time I've gotten download over 300kbps and upload over 100kbps simultaneously on 3G.
I received mine while operating wifi I'm always on wifi at my house. I selected "later" and a few minutes after midnight I got the notification again, also while using wifi.
Got my update exactly 15 minutes ago. Here is the latest screen shot on 3G, and now I am a lot happier!:

was your mobile data turned off? it could still be on at the same time as your wifi. i use the juice defender widget to manually turn it off (but i don't, i let j/d do it per config settings).
BTW, got mine via OAT just a few minutes ago in mid-Atlantic state.
uhh I think I got a broken phone?? My download on full service bars, 15 times with 6 different servers: I havn't been able to get past 350kbs download with an avg of 310 and my upload is 15kbs...yes you read that right, ??!! My avg upload has been 8kbs. I don't understand??

I think I just have to face the music that my house is in a Sprint dead zone. At work, I got the DI18 update and all was happy - downloads about 650 kbps, uploads between 200 and 400 typically.
I got home and ran speedtest.net to see how the update improved my home speed. Answer: it didn't. Four runs since getting home:
D 178, U 14
D 190, U 9
D 185, U 13
D 548 (woo!), U 19 (D'OH!)
So now the question is, does this bother me enough to jump ship. I have about 4 days left to decide before my 30 days are up.
On the one hand, I don't particularly need data in my house since I have computers everywhere and WiFi if I really need data on the phone. Plus, as a phone, I really love this phone.
On the other hand, shouldn't I expect more out of my premium data device/network? I mean, on the coverage map I am well within a 3G area and bordering a 4G area, but my phone is roaming in my basement, and now I know that I'm just not going to get anything above EDGE level speeds for data at home. That's not good for anyone.
What would you guys do?
