A tease?

outlaw.. i think you take the creep comment to seriously.... just friendly rubbing... i think.

what u say is good advice.

Well let's present the question to the females who are participating in thos thread....

If when you were in high school a guy you either liked or weren't quite sure yet started noticing you and paid you a few compliments, would you suddenly think he was a creep?

What dan330 said, and plus your question was answered by Roze - last I checked she more than qualifies as female.

It was specific to the inerpretation of the printed wording, nothing more.

And besides - are you honestly saying that you're unaware that lots of guys give creepy compliments?

You're overthinking this one compadre, nothing to see here.

This thread is chock full of WIN!

I've been snorting away laughing at this shite. This is why I love this forum....;)

Pffffffftttt... I think it's pretty well documented that I can roll with the punches, and give em as well as take em. I'm far from 'mad' at Vhisel or anyone else for that matter. HOWEVER....

I'm actually quite serious about giving Vinsanity the insite into talking to girls that I WISH I would have had when I was in high school. Because I get the distinct impression he suffers from the same paralyzing shyness I was handicapped with in my early days. That is one of the worst things you could possibly strap a kid like him with... seriously. So the last thing I want for him is to come away from this discussion more confused than before.

Take all the shots at me you want to, I can take it. I'm 100% confident in myself, my ability to converse with women, and all the rest of it. But please, don't discredit sincere advice that could be of value to him in his quest to over come his reservations about going for it with this 'shy girl' he has his eye on. That isn't going to do him any good, and could just terrify him even more, negating any chance he might have.

Yes back in high school I had very little confidence in myself. I was so shy, I only went on 3 dates, and had one girlfriend (with whom I dated for 20 months). And the only reason I went out with her is because she just wouldn't give up until I finally said yes! Lol, she was definitely the aggressor. And I can tell you from that experience that when it comes to a shy person, that's exactly what they need, someone who won't give up on them the first couple of times they politely reject the advances of the pursuer. Sure I wanted to go out with Jennifer, she was gorgeous! But my shyness wouldn't allow myself to believe she seriously wanted to go out with me until like the 3rd or 4th time she called and said, "come on, why won't you go out with me? Do you really not like me? If you don't then say so and I'll leave you alone, I promise". So her persistence paid off, and we dated until I went into the military. And it was the most beautiful relationship I've ever been in. So I'm grateful she didn't give up on me.

It wasn't until I was in the military, living in the barracks, packed in with all those people for two years, that I gained confidence in myself and learned the art of flattery. It was like hitting a light switch, all of a sudden I just 'got it', ya know? And then it was so easy, and I thought, "what in the hell was I so flippin scared of all that time"? As long as you're sincere, be complimentary, make them laugh, and don't be afraid to make fun of yourself, it's easy as cake!

I wish I'd have known that back in high school. But I didn't, and I'd honestly love to help our boy Vince here find the courage, by arming him with good advice. And while the example I gave was not intended to be memorized and used word for word, it was an example if how to put those pieces of advice together and use them in a way that I have found females respond to.

Find things you have in common. Give her sincere compliments. Be funny. display confidence. And don't be afraid to crack on yourself.

Uh - ok.

When we get around to taking shots at you, we'll tell you.

Meanwhile - dood - seriously - decaf, mmmk? ;)

Meanwhile, just don't get worked up over what Roze's sister (Danielle) teases you about. :D

Danielle....u better be talkin about someone else

So, this thread has been up... what's the conclusion?:

Who did you ask?
What was said?
What was the response?

Are you out with her now and that is why you aren't answering my questions?
Don't you know you can use the Phandroid App, and answer right this very moment?

^^^ hell.. turn on ffc and take us on your date with you.

earlymon... read it wrong... my bad... i still want to report you to a mod. :D

If he is out on a date right now, at this very moment, then it means they ditched class to go.........

Good lord, what have we done? We've created a monster and set him loose amongst the poor high school girls of the town he lives in! Talk about a 'FAST LEARNER'!!!

Ask the shy girl out asap. If you don't, someone else will.

If she says no, ask to still be friends.

Then go ask the slutty girl out and have some fun. You already know how she is, so don't get too emotionally attatched to her and the relationship will last longer than you expect.
