Root A2sd not moving everything

I posted before about how a2sd was only moving part of my apps to the SD card. So I got a class 10 card and tried again. It's still only moving about 25% of the app to the SD card. Shouldn't it move 100% to the SD card?

What rom are you on? I think a2sd and apps2sd are 2 different things. Some roms such as the one I am on, MikG 3.11 have a2sd built in and automatically send apps to the ext partition on sd card. The apps2sd only move some of the app to sd.

Im using Decks ICS alpha 8. Apps2sd does indeed only move part of the app. That's when you go through the phone's app and move them. A2sd (I've heard) moves all of the app to the part of the SD card you partition. When partitioning, I set swap value to 608MB and ext value to 644MB. 101MB of my apps is on the SD card partition and 303MB is on my phones internal memory.

My SD card is 32GB. I set the swap value so big just because I have so much space free. I just used Amon Ra to partition. I didn't know there was any other way. I'll check out that guide and see if that helps.

I followed all of the directions in the guide above when I did it. I'm using darktremor's a2sd method, not cm. Except I didn't update ext2 to ext3. It didn't give me that option. Is this what's causing my problem?

I was playing with some stuff to get more on the SD card. I went through ROM toolbox pro, selected all of my apps and selected move to SD. This made them take up less of my a2sd partition and more on my internal memory. So I moved them back. Now 229MB of my a2sd is used and 209MB of my internal memory is used. The amount in my a2sd partition doubled for some reason. I'm getting closer accidentally.

have you run a2sd reinstall

after the boot up try to run
a2sd cachesdreset (move dalvik to sd card and clears contents of dalvik-cache)

This will convert ext2 to ext3
a2sd convert-ext3

If you wanted to convert to ext4 then you would use that command but only after the above command. You have to step it up.
a2sd convert-ext4

To find out what is supported:
a2sd partlist

that will show you what your rom supports.
