i mean that i can changer my phone but not connect usb so i want to know if i can flash my phone with stock 2.3.4 back because my phone is not boot up and i want to know if i can do it by sd because my phone power port is bad


i have two phone one is broke

Same here. Still trying to figure out how to fix this.

If any of this is caused by corruption, seems like it'd be a good idea to post hashes of the files so that we could verify before flashing...

Update:

By installing the 2.3.6 update ROM I was able to get my wifi working again. Of course market and such isn't working for me, but since I'm using this as a wifi-only phone (Sipdroid+GV), I don't much care. I'm uploading the ROM to MediaFire for anybody who wishes to flash it. Also, I would suggest you guys packaging your ROMs in tar.md5 format like Samsung does, as you get the inherent sanity checking via Odin. Will add a link to ROM when it's done uploading.

:confused:HOW DO I PULL A COMPLETE SYSTEMS COPY FROM AN UNROOTED, BRAND NEW OUT THE BOX SAMSUNG ADMIRE PHONE?
 
please post a how to get back to 2.3.4 from 2.3.6, or how to get data to work, i tried all steps and nothing. my qpst wont reconise my phone, how do i fix that, please help and or pm me please thanks for all devs hard work
 
I wanna do this since i did it once, but it seems when i did this when that ugly yellow triangle pops up it seems to make the boot slower. dont know about you guyys.. But is there a way to remove that UGLY triangle?
 
What tar did you use to get data working .can you pm it to me please ty . Sort for bugging.thought it wa easy.and how you flash it
 
this is wierd.. i put the phone in download mode, that works fine but good ol WIDERZ is finding it as MSM7x27 and trying to install drivers for it.. since there's no drivers ODIN wont recognize the com port... any help?

edit: figured out what was going on. if you go into download mode and your computer tried to install MSM7x27 (the processor model) download and install Samsung kies http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/ that will install the correct drivers, then after flashing remove the kies program. thanks guys!!
 
ok so i really need some help here .. late last night my phone crashed (admire r720 ) no idea why but the whole os was wiped out .. like completely gone . so i followed your steps to get stock back . i got it up to the home screen no problem .. but i don't have any serves wtf? both the baseban and the hardware say unknown .. plz i really need help here i cant go to long with out my phone to long or i lose $$$$$:eek::eek::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Idk wtf you did. Never herd of this happening on any Android device I've ever owned. I suggest you unroot the phone n bring it to metro.

Sorry to bring this back up, but it doesn't look like there was a solution to Millertime's wifi problem. I seem to be having the same problem.

Update to 2.3.6 --> Wifi works fine
Go back to 2.3.4 using either .tar file (stock or pre-rooted) --> Wifi error

I've downloaded each file (Odin, tar files) at least twice and tried this process a good number of times with the same result.

Any ideas?
 
Well I've managed to once again screw up my phone. This time when I start the phone it does the Metro Hello, Hello, Hello, crap but once thats done the screen goes blank and the phone just vibrates constantly. I've tried pulling the battery, using the android recovery-start, volume down, back button and can get to the option screen but nothing works. The usb drive is not being recognized by my computer so I can't access the memory or anything else. I messed up my build.prop file by accident and need help in trying to fix this.
I've already gone to Metro and they have ordered a new phone (my second one in 8 days) but I would really like to avoid having to go that route.
Shabby penguin you've been a great help in the past, do you have any ideas as to how to repair the phone? By the way I'm rooted with Admiral Beast installed but not CWM.
 
Thansk to all of you who helped with this site. I have finally gotten to having CWM installed and am now in the menu for it. Rigth now I'm lost as to what I need to do to fix the problem on the build.prop file in the system boot. I changed it to the one that would have allowed the speed boost. I changed the name of the stock file and now need to change it back. How can I do this? I haven't tried rebooting my phone yet because I haven't fixed the build.prop file, returning it to the Admiral Beast one. Because I have wiped and reset everything how can I get this phone up and running correctly? Does anyone have a completely stock admire rom for me to flash? Or is that the wrong way to go? Please help a dummy out.

It gives me a fail and it leaves the phone in dowload mode and i have to manually reset it.

My goal is to simple make the phone as if it were fresh out of the box. Like first time booting, the reason for this is because i believe i screwed up my data setting and just F-ing with the phone all together and just want to start from scratch.

My data does not work at all.

PLEASE help me.

Yes I have messed with the settings because I went to 2.3.6 and then came back to the Admiral Beast rom since my market wasn't working
Pretty much the order of which i've messed with my phone:
Bought it
Root it
UOT theme
3g enabled
3026 prl update
boost 3g with 2.3.4 tweaks
update 2.3.6
QPST setting to have it work correctly (never got market to work besides wifi)
Admiral Beast 1.0 (ROM)
3027 prl update (Data started going in and out)
QPST setting trying to tweak it to work (data in and out
Odin Stock pda.tar
phone.tar (Never flashed said it failed, now absolutely no data)
Now no data at all trying to get back to completely fresh out the box

@ gbiggie Thank you so much, my phone is being a nasty paperweight right now without internet :/
