Yes I have messed with the settings because I went to 2.3.6 and then came back to the Admiral Beast rom since my market wasn't working
Pretty much the order of which i've messed with my phone:
Bought it
Root it
UOT theme
3g enabled
3026 prl update
boost 3g with 2.3.4 tweaks
update 2.3.6
QPST setting to have it work correctly (never got market to work besides wifi)
Admiral Beast 1.0 (ROM)
3027 prl update (Data started going in and out)
QPST setting trying to tweak it to work (data in and out
Odin Stock pda.tar
phone.tar (Never flashed said it failed, now absolutely no data)
Now no data at all trying to get back to completely fresh out the box

Your Odin settings are wrong. Leave all the settings default when you start it up, load the OPS file, click the Phone button and select the Phone.tar, then hit start.
 
@requiste0 If I leave it by default then I can only choose "On Package" unless I unclick it (On the upper left hand corner) so that I can choose "Phone".

So I am now confused. o.O
 
Ok so I did what you said still getting a fail

Quick question though, what does it mean if the phone doesn't reset? like it goes throught the "RESET" phase but the actual phone stays in downloading mode (I have to press and hold the power buttone for it to exit and boot up)
 
Requisite0 I think the same thing, but I have NO data what so ever, no 1x no 3g nothing.

bump cause this just saved my life and can save others getting that cache error in cwm and dont know what to do :) start fresh
 
gbiggie can you pm me I have sporadic connection. Please help its like I have no data but I can call and can't recieve texts . IM on lunar rom

Update:

By installing the 2.3.6 update ROM I was able to get my wifi working again. Of course market and such isn't working for me, but since I'm using this as a wifi-only phone (Sipdroid+GV), I don't much care. I'm uploading the ROM to MediaFire for anybody who wishes to flash it. Also, I would suggest you guys packaging your ROMs in tar.md5 format like Samsung does, as you get the inherent sanity checking via Odin. Will add a link to ROM when it's done uploading.

Im trying to flash to this.. my wifi isnt working.
How exactly do I install this? with CWM? with odin? I need some help.
 
Does anyone know where I can download a stock nandroid backup for the samsung admire metropcs or, and generic, 2.3.3/4 or 6 (android version) that is rooted with or without bloatware removed?

I already have cwm installed on my device.

I have a phone stuck on boot loop and I need to restore it with odin. I tried using the cwm recovery tar, but it wont install and reboot. If I try the SCH tar will it reboot and successfully be installed. Help I need an answer fast.
