Got it now. Preciate it for the explanation. Welp hope it continues to help in every little way possible. And as always I'm here to help with whatever I can..

Negative nor the mind or time for it... I'm a flash fanatic though so anything needed tested I'll sacrifice my admire for it. I've been meaning to mess with your recovery and I will later tonight..
 
Great, thanks it took less than 3 minutes to revert back. :)

RetroDelete,SCHR720.ops & SCHR720_EH02_PDA.tar both of them.

OPS tells Odin info about partition .... the image is in the tar file

after Odining the phone go to recover and apply factory reset.

So Just PDA, not PHONE, correct?

You only need phone if u did the 2.3.6 upgrade. By using phone you revert back to the 2.3.4 modem. The pda is the 2.3.4 rom n kernel. So if your on 2.3.6 flash both to get a 100% working phone ( confirmation would be good ). If your on 2.3.4 already just flash pda to return to stock pre-rooted. Either way u still need the ops file.

im uploading the boot tar rigth now. as it stands this will not get you back to TRUE stock as i need to unroot the system image. but hey its better than what you guys had a few days ago, amirite? ;)

edit: rewording the top post to clarify that the only ones you need selected are auto-reboot


the difference between using one package is you flash one tar, if you want your system to be BOOM stockified then dont select one package and load all three tars up :)
 
Guys, in the middle of flashing my USB failed. Now my USB isn't recognized by my Laptop. My phone boots up normally, but I wanted to flash back to stock, any suggestions?
 
i pulled the link on the boot.tar, use the pda one in one package for normal flashing. use the phone ONLY if youve done the update

I've done the update to 2.3.6, and with the help of Shabbypenguin, got it working. Went with using just the OPS file and the one package PDA file, and it got me back to 2.3.4. Apparently it is still using the 2.3.6 Modem, but market, mms, and data are all working. Shabby recommended to keep the modem as it improves battery life and signal performance, so I will be doing so until there is another update. Thanks and +1.

So my theory was wrong. I was thinking the modem was breaking data n not the rom itself
 
I found the problem, my Motherboard installs my USB ports TWICE. Although I will be putting up a post for anyone who needs an actual fix. The original cable didn't work, however, my other MicroUSB cable does, I need to flash today because I fell aslep on mylaptop
 
So I'm running 2.3.6. and I want to go back to stock 2.3.4.
I would like step by step directions on which tar files to use and such.

I tried doing SCHR720_EH02_PDA.tar first but then what?

You would have to use the Phone.tar, and Boot.tar.make sure that the only thing checked ( on the left side) is Auto reboot. Then you just hit start and let it do its magic.
 
Just to be clear, I do SCHR720_EH02_PDA.tar first as an Integrate Package then after the phone boots I click the boot button and use SCHR720_EH02_BOOT.tar then click the phone button and use SCHR720_EH02_Phone.tar?
