Root AlienDroid + Testers

I downloaded it... seems way too complicated.. I couldnt even figure out how to enable it.. Im sure if I mess around with it i could figure it out but man GEEZ
 
It's not THAT bad. :P It's weird in a way, but its awesome. I'm a minimalist...so only having one icon on my screen? Hell yes. Everything else? Swype up and bam...icon dock.
 
only issue I can find is the camera force close if you use the dedicated camera button. the app wors fine .(SAME ISSUE IN DASTINS CM10.1) The way I fix it is swapping the gallery2apk. from Everlov

Me too. I took a screenshot of my development options on my phone and sent it to xda, but they still wouldn't give me a developer badge... It all makes sense now.

P.s. alien droid rocks.
 
Yeah I'm gonna say this is a pretty damn awesome ROM.

A few quirks I've noticed though. (Really just one.)

GPS doesn't seem to work. Which is fine, I hardly ever need to navigate anywhere. Its just nice to have ;)

Try going into settings>location access>gps source
and check "use internal GPS". See if that fixes it.

I don't see that option. o.o All I have is:

"Access to my location"

"GPS Satellites"

"Wi-Fi & mobile network location"

Hmmm. Sorry, I have not flashed the official version. Needed all my settings back to start the work week. Was planning on waiting for the official sprint version before flashing again.

You're on 4.2 so settings may be different :/
 
Meh, oh well xD I like the ROM. So its cool.

Would've been useful while trying to find the house I was going to look at today. But found it without GPS ;D
 
That's awesome man! Congrats :) I just bought about a year ago. It's a good time to buy especially if you don't need to sell one first. Mortgage is about the same as we were paying for rent. Crazy... Anyway, better get back on topic :p
