Finally flashed. Out of curiosity, is it possible to flash buttered toast kernel over this?
 
Great, thank you! I'm installing it right now via 4ext, wiped everything but sdcard prior to install.

Install took about 2 minutes.

Rebooting now...

Sweet looking boot screen, reminds me of a Rorschach test.

From reboot to the welcome screen took about 3 minutes.

First impression is that the rom is snappy and smooth.

First 5 minutes, no problems thus far. Will do further extensive testing, but it's made a good first impression. The fact that it's based on my favorite rom for this phone is definitely a bonus as well.
 
Hey guys, thanks for all the testing done. I really appreciate it. I will be uploading BETA 2 tommorow and i will let you know when its ready to download. Thanks again. Stable build should be done somewhere between monday or tuesday. Sorry for the delay ive been really busy.

AS for the downloading speed, i have noticed a reduction of speed within the last month i will get in contact with them to see whats up. I would recommend using DAP to accelerate downloads significantly.

BTW, i remade the beta webpage. I might tweak it a bit more later on but my main focus right now is the ROM.
 
AlienMods doesnt show anything, havent tested cameras, Walkman is nice. So far so good no issues but I havent got real thorough with it yet
 
How would you guys like me to use cm10.1 as a base. Its much smoother and updated. But you would loose AOKP features.

I was going to ask you that, but i didn't want to bug you lol. 10.1 as base with your alien version and tweaks, would be awesome, i was on Evervolv for over 1 week already before testing your rom, and it was smooth i didn't had any issues with it.
 
I like the MidnightRom J as a base, because I think it's the most stable JB rom out right now. CM 10.1 ran terribly for me last time I tried it.

Up to you though -- I will try it regardless of the base.

For now it's been very stable. No force closes or reboots or lag whatsoever. I've been using it as I would my regular rom. I really like the noticeably louder audio on this rom, it's great.
 
Beta testing will be closed soon.

The good thing is that im going to release a stable build tonight, check back in a hour or two at alienroms.com

Thanks guys for all the testing, i will be making a post tommorow with the official release. Tonight i will upload the VM version and tommorow or tuesday night i will release the sprint version. And yes this is cm10.1 based.

The developer private messaged the link and also asked that we not post links to the rom. So you will have to wait for a PM or message the dev and ask if you can have the link ;)
