I think v1 is it for today tomorrow [1/14] PK's to do list is wifi and BT and the rotation sensor. Someone on irc was complaining about data not working too, so its getting close. Based on progression Id say Sunday-Monday this should be on v4 and ready for prime time but then again that statement and 25 cents buys you a pack of gum.Someone wake me up when either of those two roms are done
Plus drod2169 was saying not to enable JIT yet either so its still an observer for me

It seems lack of data is common with v1. I didnt flash it myself though. Chins up though folks its awfully close from what alpha testers report, it definitely does more than boot
I may get around to flashing v1 today just for the heck of it

i couldnt get data working (as many cant) and restore a backup is a real jerk....get md5 sum mismatches...some can fix that easily....my phone did once....and now im currently pushing dio1 odin
so id stay away unless your really bored
(but fwiw its really fast)

Yeah the lack of data goes without saying that Im out, but everyone of course is raving about the things that do work. I will continue to wait for data working. But I might hedge on my Im waiting for BT. because its the only app i could find on my sdcard (its in a folder quadrant advanced) without tibu
and for those who live and die by quadrant (i know there are several of you out there) you ll enjoy those 2500+ scores WITHOUT jit enabled
with jit and overclock there are quite a few people (im sure) who will go into a happiness coma

All jokes aside, quad advanced IMO can be enlightening for seeing where the gains occured relative to 2.1. I dont suppose you took a shootme or anything. Im just curious which of the 5 tests showed the improvement? I'd have to guess cpu and maybe memory saw improvement. But I'd be highly interested in where the gains are really coming fromhaha

Well nit I think you just made at least 5-6000 ppl out there(i dunno where i get my #s
) say i dont need phone,or txt, or data, or anything if I can have 2500+ quad scores

nothing happens to it really....im sure many will still stay on dj05/dl09 roms for awhile, not wanting to take the jump
but once its stable, you can bet other roms based off it will pop up...it just wont be a kaos or nothing 2.2 realm

yea Ill be one of those hanging around till I see that a post or tweet saying its stable (or at least stable that I feel comforatable that I can work myself out of trouble)

Not that it matters much but technically we are talking 2.2.1 arent we? I mean Cm6.2 is 2.2.1. So by way of semantics any and all roms kanged from PK would also be 2.2.1 wouldnt they. Splitting hairs of course but Im not even sure what 2.2.1 added

Despite exponential progress it still seems like we're probably 2-3 revisions away from getting this guy ready for prime time. Not a critique of course just saying. Sounds like todays big issues are the partitions and of course the CDMA provisioning so we all get data. But that just means wifi and bt and camera gets pushed back a day or two

yes, its 2.2.1 based....whatever the revisions between 2.2 and update 1 were i personally never looked into....but yeah
yeah daily for those whose requriements are merely data/sms/calls? maybe 1-3 revisions away...for those who want something above what 2.1 eclair aosp was? prolly more.........a mostly complete froyo aosp?.....i d personally think 2 weeks minimum
