Root Am I too stupid to Flash a ROM ??

Nothing we did should touch you sd card. Flashing only pulls a zip from your card and writes it to internal. Sd card is your safe haven. That being said people get damaged errors from cm7 and I saw someone lose their pics but really they just weren't being found by the rom they still existed.

Pretty sure it wasn't what we did. What else have you done since? Is that the only thing to you lost? Everything else on sd is ok?

They are gone. Not just from the gallery but also from the DCIM folder on the card.
Weird thing is that there are a couple random photos that the gallery shows, probably from another folder.

I am running a file recovery scan on teh SD card right now. Wish me luck finding the files !

PS: Didn't do anything else besides what we covered yesterday.

Wait, I did restore apps with MyBackup Pro. I didn't restore any data as it was suggested that it might cause problems.

Soft bricked I assume. That's why I suggest flashing sprint lovers. It's a stable rooted rom with everything updated all in on package. I don't have to worry about what rom you are on and if flashing new radios will be ok with it or not.

So just pictures are gone and nothing else was deleted? Music is fine? The rest of the sd card was fine?

How did the scan go?
 
I was able to recover my pictures. The recovery software found them in some obscurely named folder that was deleted. All pictures now have file names with 20 letters and numbers LOL.
Main thing is, I got them back :)

Oh, and yes, I backed up my SD card to my laptop ;-)

Good job sir. Someone else had this exact issue. I believe it was with cm7 also.
