I have no edit button for my posts, even on even the newest post. (ie this one). Using from Chrome on a Vista (spit,spit) laptop. Off to check on my Note 3 (also using Chrome).
 
No thanks, the mobile site (I'm swyping this on) will do nicely now I'm getting used to it. I really despise Tapatalk with a passion, mind you it was 2011 I last tried to use it. It might work better for me now. It's worth a look I suppose.

We can't, it has gone for good. Stick with the new site, you'll get used to it. After an hour this morning (UK user) I hated it. Came back via laptop and mobile in brief visits throughout this afternoon and I've been here solidly since my wife went to work and my kids went to bed. I am getting used to it and it is starting to feel like "home" slowly. :)
 
I really dislike the fact that subforums are now "burried" at the bottom of the page for the parent forum. It took me a while to even figure this out, initially I thought the sub forums were just missing. I think this makes the subforums much more difficult to find, and will cause people to post things to the main forum that belong in the sub, because they aren't aware of the sub. Need to move the subforums back up to the top.

For a multitude of reasons, AF needed to move to a new platform. While there are kinks, we get it all figured out and it will be better for the effort.:)

I already commented on this. It was an option in the old format. I haven't had a chance to check here though.:o
 
I tried to find my prior 'subscriptions - threads to which I subscribed - but only one to which I subscribed in the "new forums" appears. Can the total subscription lists be migrated to this "New & Improved?" site?
 
Most of this posted before but my list is no edit button, no report button, I don't like the new VIP ribbon instead of the name being gold. I can pretty much get use to everything else but I'm a old fuddy duddy that doesn't like change....

I sorta like the more prominent badges from before, but we'll get used to these. I honestly think the VIP ones stand out more than the staff ones.

The edit button thing is up in the air. I thinks it is a bug at this point as my wife can edit posts a couple of hours old and she is just a plain blue member. I'm seeing mods and others without it. It's one of the things we'll have to be patient about I guess.

The AF app isn't functioning at the moment. Please use the Tapatalk app.
 
My af app didn't work at first I uninstalled and reinstalled! Finally worked or maybe it was the reset I did either way lol I also have the edit button which is nice! I'm trying to get use to the change!

I was also multiquoting myself three times in a row to get across how annoying multiquoting (vs editing) was but lost the two other quotes from my previous post, so the last one also lost context and was not meant to come across as offensive. Of course I couldn't go back and edit it! :)
 
Anyway, how cool would it have been if they could have ran a test forum with the moderators and maybe guides to iron out most of the major bugs (like no editing) before replacing the old forum with the new one?
