Root Android Market is non responsive...(keeps force closing)

I've had this issue for a month now. my phone is running of a Freshh Evo rom, I just updated this morning but the problem is still there....can anyone please help me???

try wiping dalvik cache and cache. i have no issues with the market. also google has changed the name of the market now. it is called the play store.

can you clear data on it in managing apps?

What happens if you uninstall it, how the heck would you get it back?

Get the Latest Gapps and extract market out and place on sdcard install it and run it. It should update to the google play store.


to the op

try going into settings>Applications>Manage Apps> Scroll and look for Google Play store tap it delete Data and cache if any then reboot into recovery and choose to wipe cache and dalvic. Then reboot and see if you still have issues.

I had the same issue on my HP Touchpad. I downloaded the new Market (Play Store) apk from here:
(Google Play Store 3.4.6)

http://ardroid.net/apps/com.android.vending-2.apk

Then just side loaded it and it resolved my issue.

Its a pretty widespread issue with the play store.

It was just updated today though to go android police and download the latest one
