Any new phone rumors for Sprint?

With all these phones coming out, my One is already looking dated. :-P

Honestly, I'm looking forward to see this T6, the new Moto X, and the new Nexus (and the new iPhone).

What I would absolutely buy though is a decent size table with the productive pen functionality! and I mean PRODUCTIVE!

Assuming you meant tablet. You could always look at the Note 10.1 or the Note 8.0. I bought the Note 8.0 2 weeks ago. Love it. Perfect size tablet for portability, as well as productivity.

It's become my dedicated media player in my car, as well as use at work and home. My International Note 2 is going on sale on ebay tonight!

Dear HTC,

T6 Wishes - Everything the One has, plus:
(in no particular order)
  • Better power button
  • Higher quality camera glass/Lenses/Optics
  • Bigger Sensor - Let's see if we can get an 8 "UltraPixel" camera ;)
  • Dedicated camera shutter button
  • Removable Battery
  • MicroSD card slot
  • 64GB on board storage capacity option for Sprint, Day 1
  • Black color option for Sprint, Day 1
  • Kickstand (not for me necessarily, but there are those out there that I know enjoy theirs - forget the kickstand cases folks)
  • Menu Button re-map option (let me get rid of that on screen stack overflow if I want to)
  • A legitimate way to disable/uninstall BlinkFeed
  • Consistent, Quality Controlled Display/Screen, from 1 BEST manufacturer, that is well calibrated to spec.
  • 3GB RAM with Dual Boot ability; 2GB dedicated for Sense or Stock Android 1GB dedicated for the other OR the option to apply 3GB to your preferred (not for me necessarily, I like Sense, but there are those out there that I know enjoy stock Android) :D

While most of those things could be possibilities, I will say that they are likely pipe dreams. The only major difference will likely be the SoC, which should be the SD 800 instead of 600. It will have 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. No removable battery or expandable memory. Definitely will not have an increased cam sensor either.

...so no kitteh?...

The ability to have a swappable battery would be helpful when you are in areas with weak signals requiring the phone to keep searching for a better signal - with the associated rapid battery drain. That is the only 'downer' that I see to the HTC EVO LTE and ONE. (I am drooling to be able to get a 'ONE', but I still have a year to go on my phone. Hopefully the replacement will have a swappable battery.)

Removable batteries seem to be a thing of the past. OEM's appear to be going for faster I/O performance over expandable memory as a feature, which I don't mind at all.

I wouldn't mind as much, as long as that means I'm getting battery life (at minimum) that resembles my Note 2. Anything less than that, for me, would still have to be removable option. I've never experienced having a phone that I didn't have to root to get a full 24 hours worth of use out of, or a full work day (heavy use). The Note 2 has been practically a dream, as far as battery life is concerned. Granted, I'm not in the majority (on the forums) that have joined the root club w/ custom ROM's that allow for over/under clocking the processor (to conserve battery life), but having this experience with the Note 2 has eliminated my thoughts of needing to root (although, at some point, I'd eventually like to sit down and do it properly, just never find the time).

The misses gets a good 13-14 hrs on her SGS3 (which is stock), and she's always surfing the web or on Facebook, etc..

Personally, I didn't root because I wanted extended battery life from tweaks and other customizations. I rooted because I wanted to be able to backup all of my apps and create nandroids, etc.. the extended battery life is just an added bonus. Also, TouchWiz is atrocious.

My Photon got close to those numbers, but as time went on and the batteries started to wear down, I could tell the difference.

My main theory behind holding off on rooting was based on how much customization I could do, without root. Majority of the customizations I want, I've been able to do without rooting. The only customization that I haven't found (without root), is being able to change the startup sound. I agree. I don't care for touchwiz at all, but NOVA has been perfect for me, so I haven't even seen Touchwiz since I first got the Note 2.

HTC Butterfly S rumored to head to Sprint, not Verizon | TalkAndroid.com

I love my HTC ONE but I wouldn't mine having this phone.

For a second, I was a little confused. For some reason, I thought the HTC One had a 5 inch screen already, but I guess not.

I'm curious why the Butterfly S on Sprint is only speculated as a 5 inch screen. I'm wondering if the Butterfly S on Sprint is more likely going to be that 6 inch Note competitor, rather than a mirror of what was previously offered on Verizon.

its funny, the Note 1 and 2 have spoiled me. I was such a HTC fanatic but their HTC Flyer & stylus really bummed me out. The Note has taken stylus use to a new dimension. Whatever HTC comes out with needs to have a much better use of their stylus and a removable battery. The battery life on the Note 2 is phenomenal. And although I have yet to swap batteries on it, at least I can if I need too.

I am surprised you still haven't rooted drex. I thought you did lol

I have to say I have been impressed with the Note 2, the stylus works well, even in my paw ( I can 1 hand the Note 2 ). And Battery life has been outstanding. I have had some weird charging quirks where it was on a charger over night and only partially charged. It isnt the factory Note2 charger but it is a 2.0Amp charger.

The last 2 devices (note2 and Asus Transformer FT101) I wouldn't have rooted except for Nandroids and Titanium BU.

Waiting for ZeroLemon to get the batteries back up and selling 9300mAh *drool*

Maybe they'll brand this one with the EVO name?

I was thinking the exact same thing with the 'T6', but the 'Butterfly S' Sprint rumor, and possibly reviving the Evo name would make just as much sense if not more.

The only thing that doesn't really jive for me is the release date for the 'Butterfly S' and 'T6'.
I would think that if they wanted to revive the Evo name they would have tried to tag it earlier and release it around the same time as the other main Evo's past. It is not the end all be all to have it release around the same time as the others, but the pattern and business reasoning was surely there. Maybe The One put a fly in the ointment, so to speak.

June 04th - Evo 4G
June 24th - Evo 3D
June 02nd - Evo 4G LTE (May 18 -> June 02nd)

Was gonna do the international one until I decided to sell it...lol...Each time I am on the verge, I find a reason not to.
