Root Awesome Android Update 4 Released

I hope. .but this isn't cheap it's a class 10 ultra sandisk...rebooted phone and the problem went away for now...which is weird cause I didn't touch sd at all
 
I noticed in AA when I set the background process limit in the developer options setting.. it never sticks after reboot...I thought it did before is this because of update 3?

I bet they saw where their phone was recognized as a Samsung Galaxy (or something to that effect). I can't remmeber where but I noticed some site showed my phone as being recognized as a Samsung Galaxy...but it's like I tell my kids, droid is droid. If that clears the air any?:rolleyes:

Yeah awesome Android makes ur device show as galaxy nexus....that is why I asked I'm hoping it is just a fluke thing but I doubt it.....it happened a few days ago and then it was fine and then it just popped up again this morning
 
The device is set to be recognized as a galaxy nexus so the camera from the galaxy nexus will work on it. Lol

Step 9 Select 'Awesome_Android-Update3.zip' and install it
Step 10 Wipe cache and dalvik cache. Reboot.

Why can't i install update 3? everything was smooth until this part. The screen just go's black, while the red light stays on indefinitely. I tried factory resting, installing gaps beforehand, wiping cache and dalvik before and after. I give up, rage has been induced.
 
First - Make sure u factory reset and install Awesome Android rc1, then gapps, and updates# 1, 2, factory reset again, update3. Wipe cache/dalvik caches in between each. :smokingsomb:

LOVE THE INTERVIEW! It is nice to learn a little about the person responsible for bringing us such great things and (in my best Adam Sandler voice) FOR FREE....FOR ME! Love the bluegrass...get a taste of all four seasons and the view never gets bland...nice blend of fields of farm land, or rolling hills and mountains and the great Lake Cumberland and the awesome Cumberland Falls is breath taking! Not to mention LEX (go CATS) and LOU (go Cards)! Your work is much appreciated...enjoy every waking moment with your boy...they grow up quick (pardon the cliche)...my favorite ages is from about 6 months to 5 years...after they start public school they pick up smart mouths and stop being so cute!

FIXED-→I figured it out my calls were being forwarded and the setting for forwarding calls menu not accessible. Used a call forwarding widget works great and works for boost.
 
Building AOKP for the sequent. Once it is working it will be the new base for awesome android :) oh and it's android 4.2.x
 
Is there a chance somebody could throw the CM9 messaging.apk in a flashable zip for me? the one in in the rom has a glitch where its black text on a dark background so its hard to read.
