The only things I can think of that would cause that are changing the image files, or changing the screen density in the build.prop file.

After flashing a few of the themes above and a few others I always have the same problem. My lock screen is crammed and the bubbles overlap each other. Normally they are 2-3mm apart. Is this a common issue or unique to me? I've tried clearing no cache, and wiping cache and dalvik. The result is always the same. Pic of what I'm talking about below
its something to do with the different fonts and battery/charging icons i do believe.

I do change the font but I use widget locker for the new ics lock screen so I had never noticed it.

I thought this might come in handy, a theme reverter for those who decide to go back to vanilla BACKside-IHO after flashing a UOT Kitchen theme. It will replace the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk files that UOT Kitchen replaces. It does not replace the bootanimation, I left that alone since anyone can replace it easily. I tested it out, replacing my GreenMachineTheme with it, and it seems to work fine. All text colors, menu colors, lockscreen icons, popups, glows, borders, etc reverted to default CM7 color schemes. Let me know if you have issues.
Steps to revert to vanilla BACKside-IHO:
1- Download the BACKside-Theme-Reverter-10172011.zip to your sdcard
2- Reboot into recovery
3- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4- Flash the reverter zip file
5- Reboot to vanilla BACKside-IHO

does this theme include a changed boot screen animation? My brother noticed his boot screen animation changed to some square thing after flashing this ROM.

Bad news everyone, there's a new build up, you're gonna have to redo all your themes. 
But I did add a couple of theming options to the CyanogenMod settings Status Bar settings. You can now change the clock color, and remove the battery icon if you like.

here is the CoolBlue11-1 theme for the latest build. Changed the bootanimation to match the theme too, here is a youtube link for the bootanimation

Ok guys, my themes are going to take a day or two to be updated. I'm working a double tomorrow and gotta hit the hay early tonight.

As suggested by NoNameFace, I decided to create a thread devoted to themes created specifically for the much loved BACKside ROM. Here is a list of the current (as of the 10/17 bulid) themes so far:
Note: The themes on this list should be updated for the current BACKside build, but some theme-er's probably work faster than others when a new build comes out, so double check the build before you flash. Make sure you are using a theme that was made for the build you are using

How to apply a theme:
Download theme to your SD card (you may want to set up a folder titled "themes" or similar to avoid mixing up theme .zip's with ROMs and whatnot)
Boot into recovery
Backup better safe than sorry
Optional step: wipe cache & dalvik cache some say do, some say don't. If you have wiped caches before with no ill effects, I would wipe, if wiping caches gives you issues, skip it.
Choose "Install zip from SDcard"
Choose <name of theme>.zip *if you created a folder as suggested above, choose your folder, then the theme zip
Reboot
Enjoy
If I missed a theme, please let me know so I can add it to the list! I just did a quick scan of the past posts in the BACKside thread, so if I missed someone's theme, I apologize. If someone wants to post a list of themes for older BACKside builds, feel free (or PM me the links and I can add them to this post)
Hopefully, we can get everyone posting their new themes in this thread so everything will be in one place and easier to find

cool blue theme always leaves these little squares where text should/used to be. That's why I liked ryg so much, it didn't have this issue. Is this just because the font used? Examples below:

I noticed this too, but thought it was because of my ice theme icon download. Maybe its a problem with transparency? Could be font too. I will make a different one tomorrow.
Edit.... it was the font I believe. After installing the new ics robo font I no longer see the squares.

I would go here and use abd to install the ICS font. it looks really good
Here is the CoolBlue Theme with the Default Droid Sans font, so it shouldn't have any glitches

CoolBlue11-2 theme here. I used the Ubuntu font and a different battery bar, also a different loading circle. Let me know what you think. Also this includes the drizzle bootanimation.
