Root Base de-odexed ROM

Hey guys with this rom what are ur antutu benchmarks with lg motion cuz im happy with the c version im getting 13104 which is tha hell great when i compared with other ppl's results clocked at 1.5ghz

How would you install the ROM?
Would you place the downloaded file into your SD, also would you unzip/extract? or leave in the zip folder.... ?

Can someone explain CWM and why it's necessary ?
<----- I'm new as you can see :D

(Already rooted)

ClockworkMod is a custom recovery which is a bootable mini-version of Android which allows you to do some tasks that are best done when "normal" Android is not up and running. This includes flashing ROMs, taking Nandroid backups, restoring Nandroid backups, etc.

Installing / flashing ROMs is typically done by very carefully following the ROM developer's specific and hopefully detailed instructions. This usually includes taking a Nandroid backup prior to performing any scary / root-related activity that will change some key component of your Android device (pretty-much any root-related activity ;) :)).

Other preparatory tasks include other downloads, wipes, flashing other .zip files, etc. Final details should be found with the information where the ROM was provided / developed, etc. If this documentation is lacking/not present, then that's an indication that this particular flashable is not right for you.

@Jklo please read and understand all in stickied posts.

There is indeed lots of great information contained in a device forum's stickies. Reading, more reading, asking questions (like Jklo14 has/is)--and is very much welcome and encouraged, and making sure you understand things are very important before undertaking any root-related operation.

This is basically echoed in the note/disclaimer that is present in every all-things-root guide here at AF:

Quick note / disclaimer: as always, you are ultimately responsible for any root-related activities on your phone.

You should understand not only the benefits of rooting, but also any possible consequences (voided warranty, boot-loops, bricking, etc.) that might occur as a result of your root-related actions.

AndroidForums.com / Phandroid.com, its owner, and staff are not liable for any root actions you might undertake as a result of information used from this site.

Reading, researching, understanding, and carefully following the published steps and instructions can go a long way towards helping to make your rooting efforts a successful one.
