wow Freddie hit the 1st walk off grand slam in World Series history.......that is nuts that nobody has done that until now.
I came here for Hockey....
My NL team is the Braves, I'm a huge Freddie fan and love that he came up clutch.

When the announcers said that... I thought nah, that's not right. Good on Freddie. He was served up a meat ball. A fastball over the plate by Cortes begged to be crushed. Good on Freddie for taking advantage and getting the first walk off slammer in World Series history. I'm happy for the Dodgers and very happy for Freddie!
on the post-game show on Spectrum Sportsnet, Orel Hershiser said that Fernando Valenzuela's nickname in the clubhouse was Freddie and in full circle Freddie Freeman hit that grand slam hr on the day MLB honored Fernando Valenzuela in Game 1 of the World Series.

it sounds like Ohtani popped his shoulder out on that slide. its popped back in hopefully it does not swell up or anything.
I can't believe he played tonight. It looked like it was hurting him. Game three is now in the book and all three games belong to the Dodgers. It's looking pretty grim for the Yankees. I was expecting a more competitive series. At least the Dodgers are on the winning side.
yeah i do not think you will be able to stop Ohtani from playing regardless of injury. he has dreamed about this for so long. i just hope he does not injure something else. that swing looked painful at times.
i think that Freddie Freeman grand slam walk off homerun, just blew the sails from the Yankees. they just looked completely stunned the last two games. i love the fact that all of the Dodger players were not celebrating after tonights win. they all still had their game face on. they all were saying that they still have to play a game tomorrow. my worry is that Roberts used a lot of leverage pitchers tonight. not sure whst the gameplan will be with a bullpen game tomorrow.
I almost expect the Yanks to win tonight. We rest our pitchers and it's good TV. Giving them the next two games would bring the series back home for a Dodger fan victory and celebration. However, you are flirting with potential disaster to let the Yanks get some wind in their sails.
As expected, the Yankees won tonight 11-4. I say that's enough leash to give them. Lets wrap this thing up tomorrow!
It's almost like Dave Robert's intentionally withheld the best pitchers out for this game..... which i feared was going to happen. If Hudson did not allow that grand slam, the game might have been different. I was actually surprised that he came back to pitch the next inning.
Hopefully we can recover and win it tomorrow. I don't want to see the series head back to LA. that would mean we lost the last two games, giving the Yanks momentum....... don't want that!!!!
