Baseball 2024

I totally agree. It would be great to win at home but letting the Yanks win two in a row is dangerous. It would make for some exciting baseball, especially if the Yankees won three in a row to tie the series. In my sporting days I was taught to step on the opponents throat and keep them down. If you give them the chance, they will be doing the stepping.

the good thing is that Dave Roberts spared our bullpen leverage pitchers as well as our starters. looks like Flaherty will pitch game 5. i hope we put them away tomorrow.

Giving up three runs in the first is not a good start to any baseball game. Giving them up to the Yanks who have their back against the wall is definitely not good. They have to win and we gave them a head start. I'm hating it.

Two Yankees' errors in the top of the fifth let us back in the game. Tied at five in the middle of the 5th

Top of the 9th Dodgers are up 7-6. What a crazy game!!!!

It's now 2 on 1 out. We just chased their closer. What's so cool is i can hear "let's go Dodgers" from the crowd on tv!!!!! Way to go Dodger fans at Yankee Stadium!!!!!!

Edit: now it's bottom of the 9th........3 more outs!!!!!!

what a brilliant move to have Walker Buehler pitch the 9th inning.....and what a performance he did. granted they were not the biggest bats the Yankees had, but man did he come up huge!!!!!!

i'm so happy for Freddie Freeman. what a World Series performance!!!!!!!! i think he might have trumped Kirk Gibson.

"Gibbie meet Freddie!!!!!!!!"

you are just jealous:p:p:p:p
Nah, just tired of the greed from the networks, leagues, and players. Plus, having more and more games going to streaming services so I have to spend more money. And how about Joel Embiid, dude signs a $193 million dollar contract and fans spend their hard earned money to see the best players play. The 76ers already are sitting him out of games for load management and we're like a week into the season. Now he's crying because fans are being mean to him about the situation  Give me a break.

He played for my college, KU. I use the term played lightly. He was not an impact player for us. He was saving for the big bucks. Like many, he wouldn't see a college court if they didn't require one year college participation before going pro.
