Battery Questions

I want to buy a high grade, and efficient battery for my Thunderbolt. Also I don't want to buy the extended battery for this phone because it's just way too bulky and unappealing. Does anyone know of a brand that's known for it's great batteries?

No seido was already proven that their battery doesnt match up to the mah that they state it as being. i wouldnt waste the 50 bucks on a battery that isnt much of an improvement over stock.

How about just wait and buy a phone that will have better battery life then?

I'd wait a while. Seidio sucks. Don't waste your money. I emailed ChiChiTek (HTC Express) and he told me in a couple weeks they'll have a bigger battery available. I'm assuming it will be an 1800 mAh like they had for the Inc/EVO because they already have a 1500 mAh available on Amazon. I can't speak for this "coming soon" battery, but the 1800 mAH for the Inc/EVO was an amazing battery. I could routinely go 2 days between charges. He said he'd email me when he knows more about availability, I will keep people updated if they'd like me to.

Did that battery make a bulge in the back of the phone? Because that's why I HATE the extended batteries

My phone has great battery life :D

I'm sorry, I misread and misunderstood your other comment. That's what I get for reading and posting while at work. LOL.

Anyhow, how are you getting "great" battery life? I just can't imagine it while I sit here charging my launch date Incredible with an extended battery in it at work.

I would just carry a spare oem battery and get a desktop charger. I can't stand the added bulk of a big battery, and I'm never more than two hours without a charger. In the car or home office mostly, and wife's car has a charger as well. I've usually purchased the Seidio extended batteries if they fit in oem space. Can't say as I've ever noticed a huge increase in runtime with those, but as long as it doesn't change the original shape of the phone, I'd give it a shot.

No it didn't, I hate the hump back as well. The meain reason I bought it for my Inc was the fact that it fit under the stock cover and the price couldn't be beat

Just to let you guys know. It has been 12 hours since I last charged. Now at 45%. Thats moderate use and even a lil GPS nav in there

What is moderate use to you? It seems like that is where the battery life statements get skewed. Moderate might mean one thing to one person and something totally different to another.

i think seidio is the only other one out there. the 1750 they had was sketchy but the 1600 might be a little more on par with where it should be

any way i could get on that email list?

seidioonline.com offering a 1600mah innocell. Just only at this time batteries can be made so small with power. No idea it this help you out but an energizer power to go 4000mah may work for you. Like 5oz I think. Portable charger it is. Brian

These batteries were proven to not actually be 1600 mah like stated. And this is a duplicate thread someone already posted the same question.

most of us if we didnt touch our phone it'd be dead in 7 hours let alone 100 texts and other moderate use. how you get a super-stock battery?
