Bell Atrix [Canada]

What site do you usually use?
I use either MobileinCanada.com or Cellunlock.net, whichever has a cheaper deal on at the time. MobileinCanada has had $0.01 deals in the past, but they don't last long so you have to jump on it when it happens.

I believe it is $30 for the Bell Atrix. Cheers
Both of the two above should have it for $20 or less.

hmmm...good to know. Might go with this. Are you getting your Atrix today?

Good to know. However, they don't have the Atrix listed. Hence, if you are a non-Bell user, the guy I mentioned should help, as I have always got devices on launch day and he has unlocked them for me :) Good luck to you'all either way!

EDIT:

Cellunlock is charging $40 for the ATT version. More expensive than other unlockers.

That's for the AT&T model, and you can use the discount code for 50% off. The generic Motorola unlock is $20 which should apply to the Bell version, and the discount might work too!
;)
Not that it matters to me just yet. I don't have the phone, and when I do, I intend to play with it over wifi to fully test out the hardware for any defects for at least a few days before unlocking it. I never unlock the same day just in case it's defective - I don't want to pay more than once.
:D

I would think so, lol. I don't see 'em flying off the shelves like the iPhone4.
I hope so...I haven't even had a chance to play with one yet since my local Bell store refused to display it (they're a bunch of snotty twits anyway which is why I won't buy from them).
:D

Well I just got denied at the first Best Buy. The guy said Bell told them no outright purchases. Then I tried the pay as you go route.
He said there is no pay as you go on the Atrix.
I'm gonna try the Future Shop next door and see what they say.

Oh damn :/ Good luck and keep us updated :) What area are you getting it from. I have a list of Bell and BB stores I'm going to check out Saturday...I just hope I get the phone!

Remember, Moto RF indicator is very accurate, unlike iPhone and most others. So, depending on the network and area, you will see the bars fluctuate. Don't immediately put it down to bad RF on the part of the phone. Check the DBs and get folks to call you for testing. I'm tired of seeing too many threads about 'Bad Atrix RF' :) Cheers.

Oh that's very smart. I'll have to copy you on that!

Ok, just got it at Future Shop across from the Best Buy in Whitby.
But... The only way I could get it was month-to-month. So I got it for $678.10 after tax. I got the cheapest voice only $30 voice plan, plus $35 activation fee. Later today I will call Bell and cancel it cause they want 30 days notice. I need to get her unlocked and ppp in my Telus SIM

Wow, pricey. An ATT unlocked version can be had for $650 for use in any network with your existing smartphone plan.

The phone is $599.99 plus 13% tax is the outright price here in Canada. There is branding on the bell version and from what I understand no data cap.
The display unit in the store was pretty snappy. The display looked just as good as my iPhone 4, but when I get home later and charrge it up, I will have a good insight to it
