Best DUAL SIM android phone?

I ordered a Lenovo A60 but I sent it back after a few days because at many places I had no GSM coverage whre it was OK with my other phones (Samsung and Nokia) The A60 has a weak GSM transceiver which will only work in areas with many GSM transmitters. Inside buildings or in the train most of the time there is "no service".Nice Android toy but worthless as phone.

I have the same phone, but can't agree with you. Mine doesn't have any GSM or other wireless communication related issues. Sound quality form the earpiece and speaker is great... Only thing that may be better is battery life (I charge it almost every night), but that seems to be an issue with many android smartphones. Anyway, excellent android dual-sim phone and I'm not planning to change it soon.

I agree completely with you.
I must say that is the best phone on coverage and audio quality that i have ever had. I wish i can add it 256MB of RAM (like a desktop), and it will be perfect!

However, there is one remark made in the review by Bruno: it seems that when using data connection on SIM1 reverts calls to SIM2 to voicemail. Can someone confirm, and can I see that as a major advantage for the qualcom chipsets?

I assure you that when someone calls you to the Sim2, it interrupts the data connection and the phone rings. This is a Qualcom specification.

How long ago did you buy it?

I know that when it had come to Ukraine it has had a lot of bugs both with software and hardware as well as with assembly. Also, dust appeared under its glass after using within some days.

Some bugs were fixed with new ROM-updates later, but not all.

probably you have device from the latest shipment.

Could you tell me you have some troubles with him?
Which is the number of its ROM?

I believe screen size 3.2" is too small for the outside dimensions: my HD mini now is much smaller with the same screen size.

It is a little expensive compared to the alternatives (such as Lenovo A60), and their shipping cost $50 too. u can get a Nexus S for that price. However, it is a motorola build dual sim afterall.

I m checking with etotalk if it is in stock and available for delivery immediately before making up my mind.

Sure. With practically LG Optimus One-level specs (granted, the dual cameras are nice). I think I'll just carry a couple of Optimus One phones (costing $100~150 a piece) with me rather than pay $400 for the XT532.

I think the whole point of this forum thread is so that we dont have to carry two phones :) but your point is certainly valid (and i agree with you completely as well).

I think etotalk is over charging on this phone given that they are the first retailer to sell it online. I reckon the price will drop significantly very soon.

Also, has anyone have any news of the Moto317? (the one with physical keyboard).

I'm willing to pay a (small) premium for dual SIM. Heck, I bought my Nexus S for $300 and am willing to spend around the same price for basically an Optimus One level smartphone that supports 2 SIM cards. However, I draw the line at having to spend twice as much or more for Optimus One-level hardware just to get dual SIM functionality. I've seen dumbphones costing $25 that support dual SIM. :rolleyes:
