Best DUAL SIM android phone?

To answer the original question:

I have the "HTC Desire V T328 W" which is HTCs first Android dual-sim dual standby phone. Sim 1 is 3G (900,2100)/GSM, Sim 2 is GSM only. I bought mine from Mobile Phones | New, Unlocked & Cheap | MobiCity Australia

The phone is a mid priced 4.0 inch phone with limited extras, no front camera, only 5MP rear camera, no magnetometer but has pretty much everything else you would want. It is very slim/stylish and has great battery life from its 1650Mah battery. The nicest display I have seen on a mobile phone and runs Android 4.0.3. Excellent value for money also. My first ICS phone and am really enjoying it.

If HTC or Samsung would have offered a top of the range Android dual sim phone with all the extras I would have gladly bought that (are you listening HTC, Samsung?) but I think the Desire V is probably the best there is at this point in time.

I suppose a downside it that it does not support 3G 850Mah which makes it not suitable for Australia's biggest carrier Telstra (called NextG by Telstra). I use Amaysim (Optus) for data/voice and Lycamobile (Telstra GSM) for voice in many areas not covered by Optus in my state.

I'm really stuck on the device information of the Huawei G500 Pro, because in the etotalk site it measures 130.0 x 65 x 11.2 mm and in the merimobiles (and other sites also) it measures 123

Yes, outdated before it even releases. But that is kind of the same story, as all dual sim phones being released in Europe...

AFAIK dual SIM phones are never officially released in Europe, they're usually grey imported and sold on websites like Ebay. They're really intended to be sold and used here in China, where price often outweighs performance requirements when buying phones.

Hi,

Regarding battery life and reliability on voice calls and SMSs, which is the best Android phone (DUAL SIM, simultaneously) we can buy nowadays?

Regards

Hey jfbaro
At the present time I finds HTC Desire V the best one among dual SIM card phones. It has 4.0.3 android platform, appears nice and you can perform almost all task you wish to do. Give it a try.

why would u want dual sim? im not exactly clear on the advantage

Really?? How about work sim and personal sim? How about two carriers used in different parts of a country or when travelling outside your borders on a regular basis? If you would have bothered to read the previous 30 odd pages, many people stated their reasons for needing dual sim phones.

For included analog tv service choose the I9300.
Without analog tv is better the Lenovo A789 (with dual camera and powerful battery 2000 mah), at lower price.

I saw that "rumoured" news also with a photo of 1 normal sim and 1 micro sim slot in addition to the micro SD card slot for the Note2. I hope this is going to be a proper SamSung Note and not one of the Note-want-to-be. I am using a Samsung Note since January and I can not be more than happy with its performance. With Note2 quad core and 64 micro SD card, you can do anything with it.

I am also thinking of compromising using a dual sim adapter, which you can switch but not use simultaneously, mainly for me travelling abroad. Has any forum members had any experience with the adapter? I worry about cutting my sims! So I would prefer the no cut versions.

Thank you.

Hi folks,
any idea for a dual 3G phone that's not too expensive but not outdated?
~1GHz, 1Gig memory, ICS...
All phones I've seen on Etotalk have just one 3G interface, at least that's how I read 'G-W; G-G' in the interface description.
