After spending the past week on these forums I've read quite a bit of opinions about protectors. So far I'm pretty convinced not to get the Zagg due to the 'orange peel' look and the stickiness. The only problem is BB has the Zaggs in stock as their only option so it is pretty tempting. Not sure if I should wait for another or go ahead and grab one.. I'm pretty careful with my stuff though so maybe I'll wait. bah, I don't know.
Stupid question... Does it hurt the screen to keep changing screen protectors? Is it possible to mess something up with the touch sensitivity?
Care to post video proof for those of us who aren't quite the risk takers?![]()
Its the same screen and everything as the incredible.
That is incorrect.
"HTC is now using the Atmel mxt224 screen vs. the old Synaptics 2000 (Nexus One)"
Nexus One no longer Verizon bound, but Incredible customers will be happy | GAB

I am taking a risk on an unknown (to me) product that I found on Amazon:
Amazon.com: Skinomi TechSkin - Invisible Screen Protector Shield for HTC Droid Incredible + LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS: Cell Phones & Service
Covers the whole screen and says it is "clear".
Already ordered it but does anyone have thoughts on this manufacturer?

Why is everyone so worried about a screen protector. It's glass. It doesn't scratch.

Man, I was hoping the dude ended ups scratching the hell out of the screen, I would've gotten a good kick out of that. "As you can see, there are....awww some of a b****"
Hehe, jk. I'm glad that the phone holds up so well. I'll still get a protector once I get the phone, but at least I can manage during the week or so it'll take for me to receive it.
Has anyone encountered other issues such as dust collecting underneath the screen?
bought the same one, we'll see how well it works.
Quartz (aka SiO2, aka sand), Tungsten Carbide, and diamonds are all harder than glass and will scratch it easily. I have dropped my phone several times face down on the ground, and any street or sidewalk has plenty of sand in it or on it.
FYI sand is the most common mineral in the Earth's crust. That's a good reason for me to protect my phone's screen. I am also thankful that this screen/phone is not a dust trap like my Storm 1. What a dirt magnet that thing is.
